Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut earned a spot on the November ballot with a newly created party in his bid to hold on to his seat. The Connecticut secretary of the state said Wednesday Lieberman submitted 18,000 signatures, more than twice the 7,500 needed to participate in the election, the Norwich (Conn.) Bulletin reports.
