Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, said Thursday that she would re-enter the Iran nuclear deal and end sanctions in response to Iran's involvement in drone attack against Saudi Arabia oil facilities if she was president. "What I would do is, I would re-enter the Iran nuclear deal to prevent Iran from continuing to move forward in building a nuclear weapon that puts us and the world further at risk," Gabbard said on "The Story with Martha MacCallum." " And number two... end those crippling sanctions. Every day that we don't do this, every day we continue down this...

The “Never Trump” movement has a new ally: hedge fund boss Anthony Scaramucci, who was fired in 2017 after serving 11 days as communications director in President Donald Trump’s White House. Anti-Trump pundit and veteran Republican operative Bill Kristol confirmed to CNBC in a few brief text messages that he has spoken to Scaramucci since the SkyBridge Capital founder had a public falling out with Trump this summer. Asked whether he has spoken to Scaramucci about trying to find another presidential candidate to replace Trump on the top of the GOP ticket next year, Kristol said: “Yup.” But Kristol, who...

Omarosa Manigault Newman is at it again. Saturday she appeared on Al Sharpton’s show on MSNBC, I know, and made a remarkable claim. The former member of the Trump administration claimed that five boxes of evidence that should have gone to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation team were destroyed. Offering no concrete evidence to support such a serious allegation, Omarosa recounted her experience with former Chief of Staff John Kelly when he fired her in December 2017. “I think it’s important to realize that very early on in the administration, we got letters directing us to preserve all information related...

Gun control advocate David Hogg is urging fellow gun control proponents to fight efforts to arm Florida teachers for self-defense. His attempt to rally gun control supporters comes as Republican legislators in Florida seek to expand the state’s Guardian program to allow teachers to carry in the classroom for self-defense after volunteering for the program and going through the proper training. The Guardian program currently applies to school staff members but bans guns in the classrooms, which is the very place teachers and their students huddle and hide in the midst of an attack. Republicans want to augment the program...

"The truth of the matter is weapons like the AR-15 have an effective range of over 1,500 meters," Hogg said. "If you're using a weapon with an effective range of over 1,500 meters, you are not defending yourself. You are hunting a human being."

During a Monday ceremony, Blasey Ford introduced Rachael Denhollander as the recipient of Sports Illustrated's Inspiration of the Year Award. Denhollander, a lawyer and former gymnast, was the first woman to publicly accuse former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State doctor Larry Nassar of sexual assault.

Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexually assaulting her, cannot move back to her home due to the volume of death threats she is still receiving, her lawyers told NBC on Sunday. One of Ford's attorneys, Debra Katz, told NBC's Kasie Hunt that it's going to be "quite some time" before Ford and her family can return home. "Her family has been through a lot," Katz said. "They are not living at home. It’s going to be quite some time before they’re able to live at home. The threats have been unending. It’s...

Former “Baywatch” beauty Pamela Anderson said she was gang-raped by seven boys in high school — including her then-boyfriend — and was also subjected to sexual molestation by a babysitter between the ages of 6 and 10. Ms. Anderson, speaking during the launch of her Pamela Anderson Foundation, said she was raped, too, at the age of 12 by a 25-year-old, NBC News reported. “My first boyfriend in grade nine decided it would be funny to gang-rape me, with six of his friends,” she said, NBC reported, citing a transcript of her speech that was posted on her foundation’s website....

Sicilians, meanwhile, were quick to blame the volcano after thousands noticed that their clocks were running 15 minutes fast. The fast forward time keeping has affected a wide spectrum of digital clocks and watches - from computers through to alarm clocks. As a staunch capitalist and social liberal, Rick Santelli might not agree with everything being said at Tea Party rallies or this weekend's Right Nation convention in Hoffman Estates, but he's proud of what he wrought. "People ask me if I'm the father of the Tea Party movement," the CNBC commentator said outside the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. "I was the spark ...that started it. If being the lightning rod that started the Tea Party is what's written on my tombstone, I'll be very happy." But after his five-minute "rant" on CNBC 1½ years ago suggesting a tea party in Lake...

LOS ANGELES, July 30 (UPI) -- Bristol Palin, the daughter of former U.S. vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, and her fiance, Levi Johnston, have split a second time, sources told E! News. The sources said the breakup followed a fight between the Alaska natives over one of Johnston's ex-girlfriends, E! News reported. The younger Palin, 19, and Johnston, 20, are the parents of a 19-month-old son named Tripp. Neither Palin nor Johnston has publicly commented on the latest split, E! News said.

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania, March 15, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- The Scranton Diocese has banned well-known anti-war protestor Cindy Sheehan from speaking at a diocesan church hall, citing her opposition to Church teaching on life and marriage. Sheehan told LifeSiteNews.com (LSN) that she considers the diocese's action to be "against the teachings of the Prince of Peace." Cindy Sheehan, mother of the deceased Specialist Casey Sheehan, has been a prominent anti-war activist since she camped outside President Bush's ranch in August of 2005. She had been scheduled to speak at St. John the Evangelist Church hall in Scranton on April 9. According to a statement...

Joe the Plumber is biting the hand that vaulted him into national prominence. "I don’t owe him s—. He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it," Joe -- aka Samuel Wurzelbacher -- said of John McCain in an interview with Pennsylvania public radio correspondent Scott Detrow. "McCain was trying to use me. I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy." :::: He then reportedly went on to announce that his enmity towards the 2008 GOP presidential candidate is so high that he no longer backs Sarah Palin -- because she is...

There's a trend emerging in American politics. I don't think it's a new one, but it's growth is disturbing to me. And it's the amazing hostility to the common people. With the explosion of the internet, Andy Warhol's "15 minutes" theory seems to have developed a variant: under the right circumstances, anyone can become a superstar overnight, over the most trivial of reasons -- and fall just as quickly. Even in politics. But in politics, there is a growing trend to take that nobody, that average person, and treat them just like we do hardened political professionals -- and attempt...

From the Post, Levi Johnston was spotted Tuesday at JFK airport where he refused to stand in line with the "regular" people. Levi, who goes by the name "Ricky Hollywood" these days, made quite a show of his boarding the flight headed for the left coast: A spy on his American Airlines flight told Page Six: "He then made a big show of getting on first. He was seated in the front row of first class, looking like he was born to be there and waiting for some recognition. Jason Alexander was quietly sitting behind him." We wish Levi would...

Nick Allen in Los Angeles 20 Oct 2009 Robert Thomas, who claims to have been a confidante and researcher for Mr Heene, has been interviewed by police. Levi Johnston tells editors at Vanity Fair about the off-camera life of the woman who almost became vice president, revealing that the Palin family's home life was very different from what was presented in the mainstream media. “Even before she was nominated,” Johnston writes, “there wasn't much parenting in that house. Sarah doesn't cook, Todd doesn't cook—the kids would do it all themselves: cook, clean, do the laundry, and get ready for school. Most of the time Bristol would help her youngest sister with her homework, and I'd barbecue chicken or steak on the grill.”
