If anyone does have a suspected or confirmed case of water supply poisoning by a bio agent, I strongly recommend that ozone be used to treat the water (assuming that it MUST be made potable due to lack of other supplies, which is a better defence). Unlike chlorine and chloramines, ozone is highly effective at deactivating virus' and spores (such as Anthrax). Chlorine is much less effective against these agents and is really only suitable for use against bacterial agents (which ozone is also extremely effective against).

I have a great deal of knowledge in this area and will be happy to share my expertise for free if anyone needs a more technical explanation or has design questions. Just email me.

Attacking a film studio doesn't really make sense to me. But I have a weird feeling that some other target in LA would be attractive. They have a huge aerospace industry concentrated around LAX.

The FBI yesterday warned the nation's utility companies to guard against possible contamination of water supplies by terrorists and asked U.S. military bases and Hollywood movie and television studios to increase security measures.

Forget the Hollywood and TV Studio pukes; they got bodyguards.

Just double the guards on the utilities and water supplies.

Of course, all you say is correct. I considered that too. But still, a film studio seems a paltry target for these ambitious terrorists when great engineering firms are gathered close together near LAX. Maybe they have many targets.

The chemical plants are what scare me. In one valley within 20 miles we have about a dozen chemical plants with some really nasty stuff. I hope to God security is REALLY good here. It could be like World War ONE with gas around here.

I pray like mad they don't try anything else, but if they must, let it be in the deep blue zone. It will turn to angry red quicker than litmus paper with muriatic acid on it. They think they have hornets on their tail now....

A praying friend of mine Emailed me the other day that she continues to have concerns about the nation's water supplies and disruption to the Internet through such things as damaging undersea fiber optic cables, etc. While there may not be a specific threat at this time, I can't imagine the dastardly terrorists haven't thought about such a thing.
