I have a somewhat similar feeling. I was at Home Depot picking up some project stuff and the woman said, “ Do you want a veterans discount?”

I asked her do you want to see my VFW card or my VA Card, or my Division assoc. card. She said no you look old enough.

Kind of pissed me off.

Army SOS was made with Hamburger or ground sausage.

Same with AF. Sausage or ground beef. I may have cooked for a few thousand of my bestest friends at one point in my life. ;)
