Well now might be the time to get rid of the Fillibuster

Right now there is only one Republican Senator from a Blue State, Susan Collins of Maine who is up in 2026. However, there are many Democrat senators in Red or leaning red states that could be ripe for the picking.

In 2026 for example Republicans have 20 seats to defend vs 13 Dem, but besides the aforementioned Collins, they are all in safe Red States (Maybe Tilles in NC could be vulnerable too), but Republicans can pickup seats in Georgia and Michigan

So barring catastrophe there is little chance of the Republicans losing the Senate anytime, possibly for decades, so Dems won’t get a chance to use it against us anytime soon.

She diabetic, obese and has been hospitalized several times over the past few years.

Her making it for four more years is very unlikely, she might not die, but her health is rapidly deteriorating.

Oh and Kagan ain’t exactly a model of health either.

There's was no 1975 Quarter, they minted the 1776-1976 Bicentennial Quarters in both 1975 & 1976.

So I don't think there are similar plans, but I'm going to save up 2025 Quarters just in case they switch mid-year.

Yes Trump would have won, and you would have to deal with his “mean tweets” but the Dems would have controlled the House and the Senate, so he wouldn’t have been able to do anything and you could have impeached him over & over again to your heart’s content.

And since you Dems believe none of the bad stuff (inflation, gas prices, border, wars, etc) that happened under Biden was his fault, (You are wrong, but for the sake of argument let’s just say you are right), then all that bad stuff would have also happened under Trump and by the time 2024 came around he would be so unpopular that it wouldn’t matter which Republican replaced him, the Dems would win big, the presidency and huge majorities in both houses would be yours, and you would now be able to bring about your Progressive Utopia you been dreaming about with little resistance.

Now Instead Trump has a huge mandate and congress this time around won’t be squishy RINOs like Paul Ryan who opposed him at every turn, instead it will be MAGA Republicans.

If Kamalaladingdong wins, she's running again in 2028, no matter how bad it gets she won't drop out like Joe.

2030s are interesting because due to the massive Blue State Exodus since Covid, the south and sun belt are going to get a whole lot more electoral votes at the expense of the NE, Rust Belt and West coast.

Ga & NC will be the only swing states of consequences. So it will be very hard for a Dem to win in the 2030s.

I am optimistic, but on most lefty sites they are convinced they are winning and all the polls and early voting are going their way.

Now, Liberals of course are shameless habitual liars, where Conservatives generally always prefer the truth no matter how unpleasant, but sometimes Conservatives do fall victim to wishful thinking.

Yes, Harris has improved slightly on 2024's Biden vs Trump, but she is still disastrously way down on 2020's Biden vs Trump

Almost every category except Dead voters, she is doing a lot worse than Biden did in 2020 and that election was close. So minus the cheating, it's still a landslide for Trump.
