  • Giuliani faces 9/11 backlash

What is amazing is that with Giuliani talking about 9/11 so much, he has had no time to read about 9/11, to read the 9/11 Commission report and to realize that 9/11 was blowback, the American government created 9/11 by intervening overseas for so many years.

Saddam and Osama were both employees of the CIA, trained by the CIA and armed by the CIA

Osama and Bush used to be good friends, oil buddies

Giuliani and his 9/11 rhetoric about them attacking us due to our freedom shows his stupidity, he is not qualified to run a Dairy Queen let alone the country

another Neo-Con that could not withstand the Ron Paul Revolution, especially after the Ron Paul Surge, the $6 Million dollar in 1-day candidate

with Tancredo out of the race, it will give Ron Paul more time in the debates to hammer away real Conservative values

    That is great to hear.

Ron Paul is the ONLY conservative running in 2008.

Humble foreign policy and not being the Policemen of the world and not killing American troops overseas for failed missions.

There is only so many times he can keep using the Cancer-Card.

Edwards wrapped up the 2004 election with the Cancer-Card, then he whipped out the Cancer-Card just before the 1st Quarter was up this year to rake in some fast donations and get some free TV publicity. There is only so many times he can keep using the Cancer-Card - like the boy screaming Fire in the movie theatre, but if she dies before November of 2008 then he might use her death as a huge publicity stunt to push for more tax money going to healthcare and cancer research, his whole campaign right now is running on the fact that his wife has cancer, it’s the only reason he got on 60 Minutes last week.

I think within a few months people will get sick of his Cancer-card, just like we got sick of the Two-Americas talking point last time, and then his campaign will sink, Edwards may have already peaked.

So true, I have noticed the Discovery Channel go down the road of junk science and global warming fear over the past 6 months. An odd time I would watch the show Mythbusters or watch the family from New York build motorcycles on Discovery if there was nothing else on, but ever since I saw the Discovery Channel pandering to Tom Brokaw to create a TV special which was full of global warming fear and numerous other shows on Discovery all revolving around global warming fear and junk science, I have been boycotting that network.

  • Web site apologizes for Edwards report (Politico.com reporter 'single sourced' and got burned)

    TracyTucson to NormsRevenge

Only person that should be apologizng is Edwards.

He held a noontime conference and caused all of this speculation himself by refusing to talk before the conference. All he had to do was make a little posting on his website a few days ago and release the news that way and he would have saved himself the big mess. But Edwards wanted the big mess, he wanted all the publicity he could get out of it, he milked this for as much as he could and got all the cable TV channels to give him hours worth of coverage today, he even made sure to start the conference 20 minutes late so the TV stations would be stuck waiting for him and thus giving him more time.

This is a man that spent his career suing doctors and hospitals, that used junk science in the courtroom to bilk tons of money out of doctors and hospitals and he used that money to build himself the largest mansion in his county. Many doctors were put out of practice due to him and many patients had to pay higher insurance due to Edwards and other lawyers like him. I don't have any sympathy for him or for any member of his family getting cancer; I think it is a higher power acting and striking his family with a dead son and an obese wife full of cancer who now has to rely on doctors to stay alive, after years of watching her hubby commit legalized extortion against doctors. You can't go through life and walk all over people and extort money from people and think you won't pay any ramifications on this Earth, there is a higher power at work, and the cancer his wife keeps getting is a direct punishment for how he used the healthcare system as his own ATM machine for years. What goes around comes around, I bet the doctors he put out of practice aren't losing a minute of sleep over hearing about his whale of a wife getting more cancer.

Anytime that airport security (whether private or TSA or local police) go through your baggage, it should be done in front of you so that you can monitor it. You already know what's in your baggage, so why does inspecting your bag have to be done in secret in a hidden part of the airport?

Edwards just used her to get free TV time on the national networks.

I always get the shivers when I see that junk science lawyer Edwards standing next to that woman, it looks like she should be his mother instead of his wife.

they needed a noon conference to tell us she had cancer again, they just couldn't write a little blog on their socialist Edwards 2008 website??

Edwards using his wife's health problems to get media time and attention is pretty bad, but I guess with Obama and Hillary stealing the limelight he had to roll old Elizabeth out today at noon and get a free hours worth of TV air time off of her

i guess the tricks that Edwards used in the courtroom for years are now the same tricks he is using to get the media to come to his house

I'm surprised they did not use the front porch of their 28,000 Square Foot house to hold their press conference at, why would they not want to show us their new house??

A.P. will have him labeled a troubled youth by this time tomorrow, turn him into the victim, 60 Minutes will sit down with his parents soon enough and talk about the tough times he had in America as an outsider.

Giuliani (D-NY) is pond scum if he won't stand up for the lives of unborn children.

if all the GOP can come up with in 2008 are left-wing scum like Giuliani and McCain and if the GOP refuses to kick those 2 losers out of the party, I hope Hillary wins in 2008, maybe then the GOP will learn another lesson, they obviously learned nothing in 2006 by Pelosi taking control of the House and Republicans getting beat all across the country

The big companies have bought the governor.

Perry is no longer a governor at this point, he's just a prostitute and a drug dealer.

If any children are harmed by side-effects down the road, they should have the ability to sue the Governor personally in Civil court, and if any children die from side-effects, the Governor should be brought up on criminal charges and possibly given the Texas death penalty if the child dies in extreme pain.

Merck, the same great company that brought us Vioxx just a few years back which led to people dying.
Pfizer just pulled a cholesterol drug back in December because people were dying from it.

Perry is a real scumbag, he takes huge donations from these drug companies and then lets the drug companis pretty much write the legislation demanding that all girls get this shot that just so happens to be produced by that very same drug company.

Perry should be in jail, he is no different than a drug dealer hanging around on the streets selling dope to kids to make a quick buck. Of course, the idiot Bush is silent about what is going on back in his home state of Texas, maybe the coke snorter Bush supports this kind of legislation, who knows... the guy can barely even string together a few words to create a complete sentence.

Folks like Perry are going to ruin this party, requiring young kids to get shots for STDs when instead they should just let kids be kids and tell the drug companies to go to hell.

And what is the point anyways of giving shots to kids when MILLIONS of criminal scum from Mexico are just streaming across the border and they don't have any shots, only shots those folks use are gunshots against our state troopers.

.... In 2005, we were able to secure a major victory for firearms owners, retailers and manufacturers by passing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, a bill I cosponsored. This legislation was signed into law and now provides liability protection against frivolous lawsuits to law-abiding gun makers and retailers throughout the nation.....

    ^^^ That was good legislation.

If Giuliani (D-NY) gets his way, guns might become illegal to have in all 50 states. We have to make sure that legislation such as above is protected, especially considering the invasion of illegals and criminal 3rd worlders coming from south of the border.

headline : New York on edge as police kill unarmed man in hail of 50 bullets on his wedding day

my headline would have been : Thug leaves strip club at 3a.m., runs over cop and rams police vehicle before police fire upon him

This way you know right away you have an uncivilized thug that refuses to obey the law, has children out of wedlock, hangs out at strip clubs on the supposed day of his wedding, and has no problem attacking police officers and police vehicles.

One fewer criminal in the world, the police did a good job in protecting the public and should be rewarded for their actions.

This Sean Bell character was a lowlife, having children out of wedlock, hanging out at strip clubs at 4a.m. on the day of his wedding, striking a police officer with his car and then ramming a police vehicle.

A car used as a weapon is deadly force, Bell was armed with a 3000 pound weapon, the police responded with equal and just force.
