Border rancher George Allen Kelly, 75 years old, was on trial, charged with the death of an illegal alien who had been deported numerous times. The body of Gabriel Cuen Buitimea (48) had been found in the mesquite about 115 yards from the rural home of George Allen Kelly and his wife, Wanda. The husband and wife had retired to Arizona in 2002 after careers as a state fisheries biologist and a school teacher in Lincoln, Montana.On January 30, 2023, George Allen Kelly called Border Patrol and said he heard a shot and that he might have to return fire....

Arizona Superior Court Judge Thomas Fink declared a mistrial for Arizona rancher George Alan Kelly, 75, who faced charges of second-degree murder in the death of an illegal alien on his property. The jury voted 7-1 not guilty. Only one person voted “guilty of 2nd degree murder (or lesser charges to include negligent homicide and manslaughter).” The incident happened in January 2023: The jury began deliberating April 18. After days of being unable to reach a verdict, the judge overseeing the trial declared a mistrial on Monday. The case centered around the death of Mexican national Gabriel Cuen-Buitimea, who was...

A 73-year-old rancher accused of killing an illegal alien on his property has had the charge downgraded from first- to second-degree murder. George Alan Kelly was charged after a Mexican national was found shot dead on his Arizona ranch last month. The property is roughly a mile and a half from the border with Mexico. Fox News reported that the charge was amended Friday in Santa Cruz County Justice Court. Brenna Larkin, Kelly’s court-appointed attorney, entered a plea of not guilty on behalf of her client. Larkin addressed the decision to downgrade the charge. “That’s a significant change in the...

Imagine living on the frontier near the Mexican border on a large ranch with cartel traffickers invading every day. You are alone with your cattle day and night with no neighbors in close proximity, and you sometimes have to keep your lights off at night so that the cartels don’t notice you. Now imagine being charged with first-degree murder after finding a dead body on your ranch with no evidence that you killed the guy at all, much less that you wrongly shot him. The story of George Alan Kelly, while still murky and bizarre – whether the prosecution is...

Biden administration supporting D.C. Council bill to let illegal immigrants vote? Extending the franchise for U.S. elections to everyone on the globe -- and maybe their dogs.

The Biden administration is supporting a Washington, D.C., Council bill that would give illegal immigrants and other non-citizens, including—wait for it-- members of the Chinese Communist Party residing in the city, the right to vote in local elections. What could go wrong? Fortunately, Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Katie Britt (R-AL), are urging the Senate to take up a joint resolution that would stop the bill from advancing. The House of Representatives already has passed a (bipartisan!) resolution of disapproval of the D.C. Council bill. Prior to the House's measure, however, the Biden administration issued a memo stating its support...

An Arizona rancher has been charged with first-degree murder and had his bail set at a whopping $1million for fatally shooting a Mexican citizen on his property. George Alan Kelly, 73, was arrested following the January 30 fatal shooting of Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, 48, on his ranch in Kino Springs, just a mile and a half north of the US-Mexico border. Authorities are still investigating the fatal shooting, with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's chief deputy saying it does not appear that Kelly knew Cuen-Butimea ahead of the shooting.

A group of migrants were caught trying to break into a woman's Texas ranch house before getting into her neighbor's home just 50 miles over the US-Mexico border. Shocking security footage shared by Fox News' Bill Melugin shows the moment the group of immigrants began kicking at the door of the home in Edwards County. As members of the group try to pry open the windows, to no avail, one of them grabs what appears to be a 2x4 plank of wood and starts banging it against the door. A group of migrants were caught trying to break into a...

Those gaps in the border wall are personal to Jim Chilton, whose grazing lands cover 5 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona and who sees exactly what pours through the holes. People in camouflage walk through his lands with the assurance that they are not likely to be caught.... ... Mr. Chilton said Border Patrol agents have told him that one-fifth of the people crossing his ranch tote drugs....

Texas ranchers turn down Biden aid for illegal immigration damages

DEL RIO, Texas — Texas ranchers are rejecting an offer from the federal government to cover property damages resulting from illegal immigration and drug smuggling, fearing the aid will come with strings attached and won't help with the underlying problems at the border. A Department of Agriculture initiative to pay landowners across the state for a wide array of losses they sustained due to a surge in trespassers traveling from the border north into Texas is being met with skepticism and calls for President Joe Biden to secure the border. Under the Environmental Quality Incentive Program, the USDA's Natural Resources...

Disenfranchising the Nonexistent and Illegal Voters

A few days ago, I forwarded a note about the proposed joint resolutions of the Pennsylvania legislators to refuse to certify the results of a patently fraudulent election. I got a response which certainly anticipates the Democrats’ talking points: “Disenfranchising voters is not what conservatives do.” Of course not. It's what Democrats do by diluting their votes time and again with illegal and nonexistent voters. Refusing to recognize fraud by removing such votes from the tally at certification time is what conservatives should do. To fail to do so is to ensure that we will never have free, honest elections...

More than half a million illegal immigrants of several dozen nationalities have been apprehended on John Ladd’s sprawling cattle ranch in southeastern Arizona. Ladd has also found 14 dead bodies on his 16,500-acre farm, which has been in his family for well over a century and sits between the Mexican border and historic State Route 92. The property shares a 10 ½-mile border with Mexico, making it a popular route for human and drug smugglers evading a meager force of Border Patrol agents in the mountainous region. “As big as that number sounds, many more got away,” said National Border...

Border rancher: Illegal crossings down 90% since Trump became president

Arizona ranchers John Ladd and Fred Davis invited House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to see the southern border from their property, but she never responded. But they responded this morning to Pelosi’s recent claim that the border wall is “immoral, expensive, unwise.” Appearing on Fox & Friends on Tuesday, Ladd said border crossings by illegal aliens have decreased 90% to 95% since Donald Trump took office. Perhaps more shockingly, Ladd has determined through Border Patrol data that some 500,000 illegal aliens have crossed his property in the 30 years he’s owned it. {..snip..}
