On today's CNN This Morning, host Kasie Hunt danced on the latest media party line, that Donald Trump can't pose as a "moderate" on abortion now after appointing Supreme Court justices that repealed Roe vs. Wade. But then Hunt unleashed a series of pro-abortion messages, airing for free 30 seconds of a new Biden-Harris campaign ad, as well as an ad for Democrat Gov. Steve Beshear of Kentucky, and a teary interview with Texas native Kate Cox from NBC News. The Biden ad, in which a sobbing Amanda Zurawski displays a tiny blanket for her child, ended with this blunt...

Kasie Hunt Mocked for Claiming Biden Doesn't Lie After He Stonewalled a Question

Note to MSNBC's Kasie Hunt: perhaps you might want to check your own tweets for self-contradictions before you post them. Such was the case on Friday when Hunt foolishly tweeted that Joe Biden stonewalled on a question about if he had talked to Mitch McConnell and in the very next sentence praised Biden for his supposed honesty. The inevitable smackdown was both brutal as well as hilarious. Among the most cutting of the responses came from Glenn Greenwald who pointed out just how honest Biden really is.

NBC's Kasie Hunt: 'All of Us [in Media] Truly, Deeply Hope' for Success on Virus

Anyone who watches Morning Joe regularly has witnessed daily reminders of Donald Trump's overly-optimistic statements at the beginning of the pandemic about the virus subsiding. Joe's maniacal obsession with taunting President Trump on the matter has at times gotten so bad that even his wife Mika Brzezinski at one point feared for Joe's mental health. But on Monday's show, NBC correspondent Kasie Hunt claimed that the media "truly, deeply, hope" that the virus is brought under control. Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Nolte: Kasie Hunt Spreads Fake News Biden’s Segregationist Pals Were ‘Republicans’

MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt misidentified Joe Biden’s Democrat segregationist pals on Wednesday as Republicans. While teasing a segment about the uproar over the former vice president bragging about being able to do business with racist segregationists, Hunt, a far-left activist and MSNBC hostess, spread this fake news: Still to come, Joe Biden references his relationships with two former Republican colleagues at an event in New York City. The only problem? They were both segregationists. Actually, the only problem is that they were both Democrats, but other than that, great job Real NewsLady. What makes Hunt’s fake news especially egregious is that...

MSNBC's Kasie Hunt: Kamala Appealing to 'Coalition of Ascendant'

Sounding more like a feminist fan than a "correspondent," Kasie Hunt has enthused over the proliferation of women candidates in the 2020 Dem field. Appearing on today's Morning Joe, MSNBC correspondent Hunt said it was a "real victory" that the fact that Harris is the third woman [along with Elizabeth Warren and Tulsi Gabbard] to have announced her candidacy is "unremarkable." Sounds like "correspondent" Hunt is cheering for Team Woman. As for Harris's campaign strategy, if you're a working-class man, don't hold your breath waiting for Kamala to come knocking at your door. Hunt said that Harris is basically writing...

Finally: an NBC reporter says something we can heartily agree with . . . On today’s Morning Joe, NBC political correspondent Kasie Hunt, speaking of [putative] Republican Sen. Bob Corker’s grilling of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at yesterday’s Senate hearing, said: “Bob Corker sounded like the Democrats.”Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

NBC’s Kasie Hunt Undermines Franken’s Alleged Victim: ‘Not Actually Groping’

Like something right out of the 1990s, when the news media did everything it could to undermine then-President Bill Clinton’s female accusers, Kasie Hunt, the Capitol Hill correspondent for NBC News, claimed that what Democrat Senator Al Franken did to journalist Leeann Tweeden is “not actually groping.” Appearing on MSNBC, the left-wing Hunt said, “And then [Franken] took a picture, which his office now says was a joke, that shows him not actually groping, but mock-groping her while she was asleep.” This was not a mistake on Hunt’s part. It is all-too obvious that NBC has already manufactured a false...

Victim Shaming? MSNBC's Kasie Hunt Says Senator Al Franken's Actions 'Not Actually Groping'

What happened to believing women when they speak out against powerful male accusers? On Thursday, evidence broke of a 2006 incident in which Democrat Al Franken groped and forcibly kissed TV and radio personality Leeaan Tweeden. Photographic proof backs up her claim. Yet, MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt described the now-Senator's predatory behavior this way: “[Franken] took a picture, which his office now says was of a joke, that showed him potentially — not actually groping — but mock-groping her while she was asleep." In the noon hour, Hunt repeated her mild description. This time, she didn't cite the Franken staff and...

Kasie Hunt Warns Dems on Sessions: ‘Americans Sick of Faux Outrage’

Joe Scarborough and John Heilemann were leading an overheated charge against Jeff Sessions on today’s Morning Joe, when a surprising note of caution came from an unexpected source: Kasie Hunt. Hunt is an MSNBC correspondent, not a commentator, nor someone suspected of harboring hidden conservative leanings. Yet Hunt issued a blunt assessment on Dem dealings over Sessions. Observing that there’s danger for Dems if they overplay their hand, Hunt said: “I think one of the lessons we learned in the 2016 election is Americans are sick of foul outrage.” View the video here.

MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt: Hillary Events ‘Don’t Feel Like a Winning Campaign in Final Week’

As MSNBC reporters go, Kasie Hunt is among the more even-handed. Even so, no one would confuse her for a covert Trump fan. So it was remarkable that on today’s Morning Joe, Hunt offered up this personal observation born out of her being out on the Clinton campaign trail: “the events that Hillary Clinton is holding in these swing states, they don’t feel like a winning campaign in the final week.” Yikes! Hunt contrasted the “relatively small, relatively excited” crowds at Hillary events with the “screaming crowds of people” at recent Obama rallies, where “the vibe is just entirely different.”...

Kasie Hunt: Bush Camp Getting 'More and More Pessimistic'

Could the end be near for Jeb Bush's presidential campaign? Would a back-in-the-pack finish in South Carolina be the final blow? Kasie Hunt seems to suggest so. MSNBC's Hunt, appearing on today's With All Due Respect, sounded an ominous note for Bush fans. Reporting that the Bush campaign has been disappointed by the lack of a bump coming off a strong debate performance, Hunt said "to a certain extent there's a little bit of throwing up of the hands . . . The sense I'm getting from the people I talk to in the Bush circle is getting more and...

MSNBC Correspondent Kasie Hunt Mocks Ben Carson's Pronunciation of 'Hamas'

Yes, it's fair to report Ben Carson's problems in pronouncing "Hamas," as a reflection of his lack of foreign policy fluency. But Kasie Hunt is billed as an MSNBC political "correspondent." And on today's Morning Joe, she mocked Carson in a manner more befitting a late-night comedian trolling for laughs from a liberal crowd. After rolling a clip of Ben Carson addressing the Republican Jewish Coalition yesterday in which Carson's pronunciation of "Hamas" left something to be desired, Hunt cracked "there were some questions afterwards in the room whether he was talking about the terrorist group, or the Middle Eastern...

Rubio Catches Kasie's Eye: 'Stood Out to Me the Most'

I have a sneaky feeling that MSNBC political correspondent Kasie Hunt isn't a registered Republican. Even so, there's little doubt that at least for now Marco Rubio is winning the Kasie Hunt primary. In successive appearances on the Up with Steve Kornacki and Melissa Harris-Perry shows this morning, Hunt made clear that Rubio was her standout in the Republican field assembled this weekend in New Hampshire. On "Up" Hunt called Rubio "the strongest candidate in telling a story . . . really somebody to watch." A bit later on MH-P, Hunt hailed Rubio as the person who "stood out to...
