I'd like to request prayer for my mother. She is 88, in declining health, and has extreme dementia. I got a text from my sister saying she also now has a urinary tract infection. My father went through almost the exact same thing in the weeks prior to his passing. I know her time is short and I only ask for her to be able to slip quietly and peacefully into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She claimed Christ as her Savior before her mind started to go so I have to believe I will see her in Heaven some day, as well as my father.

may she have a peaceful tail end of her life...88 is pretty good.....prayers for the best outcome.....we all wish for ourselves a quiet demise.
My MIL did as well because they stop taking liquids. UTIs in elderly can also manifest as dementia type symptoms.

My father went through somewhat of the same thing when he was in the hospital with a UTI. His health was really bad and they said he would pass away there but he said "I'm not dying in some hospital." They allowed him to go home the next day and after 12 hours of quality time with mom he went to meet His Savior.

And because of what CHRIST did, all you others too, who heard the Good News about how to be saved, and trusted CHRIST, were marked as belonging to CHRIST by the HOLY SPIRIT, Who long ago had been promised to all of us Christians. His presence within us is GOD’s guarantee that He really will give us all that He promised; and the SPIRIT’s seal upon us means that GOD has already purchased us and that He guarantees to bring us to Himself. This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious GOD.

Thank you ducttape45’s mother has accepted JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR. Thank you she is sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT as a guarantee she will be in heaven with JESUS forever.
May ducttape45’s mother be free from urinary tract infections through the rest of life.
