In an ocean of evil BS, it’s nice to occasionally see an ounce of sanity.

The Democrat position (they lost this time) is that adoption agencies *must* connive at child sex trafficking.
Current law is that they *may*.

In addition to paying legal fees, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services will also allow New Hope Family Services to continue its religiously-influenced policies. Mighty white of them.

In 2018, OCFS concluded that New Hope was violating a 2013 state law that barred discrimination against adoption service applicants based on sexual orientation and marital status. Civil rights (=protected groups) are to apply to groups based upon such non-moral aspects as race, skin color, nationality, etc., versus how one feels as regards attraction and or what gender or species they choose to I.D. as, even if transitory. Since it applies to the latter, then discrimination against groups based upon based upon religious affection and identification cannot be consistently justified, even without the 1st. Amendment.

I was adopted as an infant by a loving Christian family and cannot even fathom the horror of being adopted by homosexuals.
