FReeper(NCLaural) UPDATE!:Thank you all for your prayers. My CT scan this morning showed no lymphoma just the typical changes one expects in the spine with age. I can’t tell you how much your prayers meant and achieved!

FReeper(INFool7) Update:I can't really go into the details but for now the two youngest children are safe for the near future. Please continue to pray for the Busche family.

FReeper(INFool7) initial prayer request:Things have taken a very bad turn yesterday as a judge has found that the two youngest children had to (and already have been) relinquished back to their mother. I probably should not go into details but our hearts are broken for our dear Emily and Dustin and continue to pray that our worst fears will not be realized. We remember that where there is great evil there is also great good

FReeper(Tuscaloosa Goldfinch) initial prayer request(and Update):My sister-in-law, CJ, went through breast cancer treatment in the early 2000’s. She has been fine since, but recently had a mammogram that precipitated a biopsy. There’s a scale thing and hers was almost at the top of the suspicious range. She has decided that she will have a mammogram. She is 60 and the sweetest person ever.
My dad have salivary gland cancer 4 years ago, and went through treatment for that - some really focused kind of radiation the name of which escapes me - out at MD Anderson in Houston. He called me this morning and said he has another lump in his mouth which is concerning, so he called his surgeon and is scheduled for a scan and a visit on the 14th. He did all of this and then called me - he’s 89. So I will take him - I’m praying for no more cancer as he cares for his wife who has late stage dementia. Also having caregiver complications so that could use a little prayer also.
Thanks - I will be out of pocket the rest of the day but thank you all in advance for praying.

Update:
Thank you! Took my dad on Wednesday - my husband prayed with us before we left. He had the scan, then went to dr’s office to review scan. The doctor said that out of an abundance of caution he would do a biopsy, but that he felt it was not anything to worry about. So he did the biopsy, and as he was leaving the room he said, “I think it will be fine.”
I don’t have an update on my sister-in-law. They are going to have to redo the biopsy week after next.
