After a lengthy battle with pancreatic and liver cancer, my father Ronald Thomas has gone home to the Lord.
My dad and I were estranged for over a decade after coming back into each other's lives about 10 years ago. He was not a rich man but worked for every dime he had. He loved music, cars, and our country. He was a stalwart Republican and a vocal supporter of Donald Trump.
I don't often post vanities, but I'm asking for my FReeper family to send up prayers to the Lord for his passage into the kingdom of Heaven to finally be with his mother, grandmother, baby daughter, and the rest of our family who have gone before him.
So sorry for your loss.

I worked with an electrical engineer with that name. He was former navy. He recently tried to get in touch but Facebook wouldn’t let me respond as he had “an unverified account.”

I’m very sorry! My dad just passed away a few months ago and it was the exact same situation. We had been estranged for years and then we started getting together a few years ago.
I’m so happy you able to resume our relationship with him. I’ll pray for peace for you and your family.

My father never served, but I wouldn’t have put it past him to not respond on FB. He wasn’t the most technically savvy man. LOL
