I saw a Tsunami hit the United States
Destiny Encounters International ^ | 6/7/18 | Charlie Shamp

Posted on 06/16/2018 8:24:30 AM PDT by The Truth Will Make You Free

I heard the Lord speak, “I have extended an olive branch of peace to the United States of America and will extend Donald Trump’s presidency into a second term by the power of my right hand. What I have done in the White House will happen with every branch of Government in the United States for I will pull out corruption and plant trees of righteousness that will bear much fruit. Even now the ax is laid to the root of these corrupt trees. Every tree which does not bear good fruit will be cut down, pulled out and thrown into the fire! There will come forth new terms filled with peace, branches will grow out of righteous roots.” ...

The Lord spoke to me again, “As a sure sign of these things coming to pass there will be a wave of conservatives elected during the midterm election in November 2018, it will be Breaking News. They will carry the House and the Senate and I will uproot, replant and rebuild the nation.” ...

I saw the House of Representatives stay in the hands of the Republicans and will move much more to a conservative position. I could see into the Senate and saw the Republicans gain 9 seats, those that took their place were considerably more conservative then those who had previously been there.

God exhausted ALL his wrath, punishment, and condemnation for all the sins of every one that has ever and will ever live on the body of his Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross

No one ever taught this until Luther and Calvin. All the ancient, authentic, historical churches (Catholic, Orthodox, etc.) reject penal substitution as heretical. And why wouldn't they? Since it utterly does away with the need to keep their commandments or participate in their rituals.

Until relatively recently, chrstians didn't believe G-d poured His wrath on J*sus. They believed the crucifixion was the "greatest crime in history" and hated the Jews for "perpetrating" it. I suppose according to them it never should have happened.

prophets in old testament said Christ would appear- He did- Adn that He would die on the cross- He did- The cross was not used at the time of those prophets- they had no way of even knowing about that method of execution

There is nothing in the Hebrew Bible about J*sus or crucifixion.

Chrstians take such scriptures as Isaiah 53 and Psalm 2 out of context and insist they must be referring to J*sus because that's what the "new testament" says. If one didn't already accept the "new testament" from the get-go, one would never see these scriptures as prophesying J*sus.

But of course I've pointed this out a zillion times and challenged anyone to offer proof but no one even tries. Chrstianity is just true for no apparent reason, and apparently Moses was an Independent Baptist.

You need to familiarize yourself with the New Covenant of grace which has replaced the Old Covenant of the law.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 8:12-13.

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” 17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” 18 Now where there is [e]remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.
Hebrews 10:16-18.

When Scripture repeats itself, it usually means it is important to pay attention. THRICE scripture specifically repeats that the New Covenant means that sin is no longer the issue with God anymore. We are JUSTIFIED by grace - JUSTIFICATION means "JUST AS IF I never did it". That is EXACTLY what the New Covenant is saying and EXACTLY how God treats those who have received Christ and his perfect and eternal sacrifice.

You want to bring back the condemnation of the law but your doctrine is totally unscriptural under the Gospel of the Grace of Christ and carries with it a double curse (Gal. 1:8-9).

Scripture calls the ministry of the condemnation of the law, the ministry of death (2 Cor 3:7). We are not to be ministers of the condemnation and death of the law but ministers of reconciliation.

And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
2 Corinthians 5:18-21.

sorry but there are over 300 that Christ fulfilled- more than enough for everyone to know without a doubt Christ was the fulfillment of prophecy

Many passages describe events that could not be foreseen by men except That God gave them the visions- such as Christ would die and rise again, He would ascend into heaven- His bones would not be broken (something that was common in roman Crucifixions) on and on it goes- Here’s just a short list:

https://www.thoughtco.com/prophecies-of-jesus-fulfilled-700159

You may choose to excuse all these away if you like- But I find plenty enough evidence fro m the old testament, and fulfillment by Christ in new testament to KNOW that Christ is Lord and came and suffered and died for our sins and was resurrected to conquer sin- I’ve experienced the freeing effect of Salvation personally and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my sins were lifted from me at the moment of salvation- Before then my burdens were legion- heavy- depressing- Those who experience Salvation know exactly the moment Christ saves them because that heavy burden is forever lifted from them- Millions and millions of Christians can attest to this very fact-

No- Doubt if you wish- As for me- I’ll believe God’s word and trust in the fulfillment of prophecy, and of eye witness accounts of not just bible writers, but secular writers as well at that time as proof enough that Christ lived, died and rose again-

More pseudo-prophecy by a wishful wannabe "prophet" who evidently sees America being the focus of God's concern, and not the church. I certainly want to see this come true, and some might, but it would likely take a nuclear attack for the kind of transformation dreamed of here. Meanwhile the focus of God is on His body, the church, which He bought with His own sinless shed blood, (Acts 20:28) and which is where judgment must begin. (1 Pet. 4:17)

[[There is nothing in the Hebrew Bible about J*sus or crucifixion.]]

None at all huh?

[[Jewish biblical scholar Alfred Edersheim (1825-1889), a convert to Christianity, wrote a classic work affirming there are 456 passages in the Old Testament that refer to the Messiah. His work The Life and Times of Jesus The Messiah is accessible for free online at CCEL. Edersheim also stated that there are 558 Messianic references in Jewish rabbinic writings. ]]

https://www.biblegateway.com/blog/2012/04/do-old-testament-prophecies-prove-that-jesus-is-the-messiah/

[[ The chance of this happening, they say, is 1 in 1017 power. Stoner gives an illustration that helps visualize the magnitude of such odds:

Suppose that we take 1017 silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas. They will cover all of the state two feet deep. Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can travel as far as he wishes, but he must pick up one silver dollar and say that this is the right one. What chance would he have of getting the right one? Just the same chance that the prophets would have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come true in any one man, from their day to the present time, providing they wrote using their own wisdom.]]

https://www.thoughtco.com/prophecies-of-jesus-fulfilled-700159

Beleive it or don’t- excuse away all 458 if youl ike- but as i mentioned previously- there is more than enough evidence to make it statistically impossible that Jesus was Not the Son of God- the odds of the man Jesus not being God’s Son as one in 10 to the 17’th power based on fulfillment of biblical prophecy- That makes it impossible that He is Not God’s Son- Beyond that- I have the witness of the Holy Spirit in my life because of Salvation through Christ- This is something that MUST be experienced personally to know that it is true- those that don’t have the witness of the Holy Spirit can sit on the outside and poo poo our testimonies all they like- but until they experience it themselves- they have no knowledge about His power and witness and teachings in our lives-

No evidence? Perhaps to those who refuse to look I guess-

God exhausted ALL his wrath, punishment, and condemnation for all the sins of every one that has ever and will ever live on the body of his Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross (1 John 2:2) and in doing so, God has righteously reconciled the world to himself (2 Cor 5:19). God fully and completely judged America’s sins 2000 years ago on the cross of Christ and would be committing unrighteous double jeopardy if he were to judge the same sins again now.

Jesus died for ALL the sins of the WHOLE world (John 1:29; 1 John 2:2)

So, I repeat. God exhausted ALL his wrath, punishment, and condemnation for all the sins of every one that has ever and will ever live on the body of his Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross (1 John 2:2) and in doing so, God has righteously reconciled the world to himself (2 Cor 5:19).

Which is absurd. The fact that the Lord laid all our sins upon Christ who paid the price for our forgiveness simply does not mean that God has exhausted ALL his wrath, punishment, and condemnation for all the sins of every one any more than it means the lost are saved simply because Christ died.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36)

The NT clearly states that God yet manifests wrath, exercises punishment for sins and condemn the same, and will do so.

Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. (Matthew 23:34-35)

Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost. (1 Thessalonians 2:16)

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:26-31)

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (2 Thessalonians 1:8-9)

Moreover, while the chastisement of our peace was upon Christ, yet even chastisement of Christians is a form of condemnation, wrath and punishment for sin, although the purpose is to work repentance, and holiness.

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. (1 Corinthians 11:29-32)

1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who do not know God; that no one transgress and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness. Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

While that is true, it isn’t rocket science to read a *prophecy* by some self-proclaimed *prophet* ( and they are a dime a dozen these days) and see that it failed.

He’s made plenty of specific ones. For example, he has a failed one about prosperity in South Africa.

Interestingly, the prophets in the OT usually prophesied judgment for sin. These days, those false prophets prophesy all kinds of stuff people with itching ears and greedy hands want to hear. The false prophets did that in the OT days and Jeremiah was thrown in a cistern and threatened with death for prophesying the truth. The people didn’t want to hear it then any more than people want to hear it today.

All they ever prophesy is that God is going to bless, bring a revival, economic prosperity, political prosperity, yada, yada, yada......

It hasn’t happened yet and many of these false prophets have been wrong and nobody is holding them accountable for it.

Instead we get all kinds of excuses about why it didn’t happen.

The only one we don’t hear is because they guy is not a real prophet at all, and just a good guesser and he is a false prophet.

Apparently you didn't read, or didn't understand, my post. You believe J*sus fulfilled those prophecies because "the new testament" says he did, and you accept, a priori, the NT's claim to be scripture. If you did not already believe in the "new testament" you would not believe J*sus fulfilled those prophecies.

Your argument depends on your conclusion being true. You don't even attempt to prove your conclusion; you simply assume it (a logical fallacy).

Of course I've pointed this out jillions of times and never even gotten a response other than "just wait till you're burning hell!" which also isn't an argument.

Exactly the same as your first argument. A chrstian says J*sus fulfills 458 prophecies. Of course he does! He's a chrstian!

Even with all those prophecies, what do you do with the Torah not containing a single word about being temporary? In fact, it implies quite the opposite. So, you think the Prophets had higher authority than the Torah?

Sorry sir- but the statistical probability that Jesus was not the messiah spoken of in new testament is 1 in 10 to the 17’th power- in other words- for one man to fulfill all those prophesies means it absolutely confirms what was prophesied- Look away from the evidence if you wish- but again- don’t expect me to ignore the obvious

Just one further point- If you’ve never mer Jesus Christ in Salvation- then don’t try to convince me or anyone who has He doesn’t exist or didn’t die for our sins- We know better- We’ve experienced His forgiveness first hand and know the freeing power of His blood sacrifice which frees us from the law-

You are trying to claim that God’s greatest gift of mercy towards mankind never happened- not sure why you’d do that? Millions upon millions of people have a personal relationship with Christ that has to be experienced to know what it’s all about- You obviously refuse to experience it- Yet feel emboldened to declare we can’t possibly have a relationship with Him through Salvation because you believe He didn’t come to earth and die for our sins-

If that is what you wish to believe- then so be it- But I’ll stick with the overwhelming evidence ND my own personal experience of redemption as the basis for my faith, and wil l not reject the good news He gave us through His Son thank you very much
