How do you know it is "of GOD?" Because it wound up in the King James Bible and it wouldn't be there if it weren't?
It isn't authorized by the Torah and therefore is illegitimate and no different than any other later made-up religion.
Everything in the OT points to Christ.
God promised a redeemer to Adam and Eve right there in the Garden.
Man CANNOT get to God on his own.
God said that the soul that sinned would die.
ONE sin, and you are separated from God forever unless justice is done for that sin.
That was the whole point of substitutionary sacrifices.
But the blood of bulls and goats could not take away sin.
The only way death could be conquered was if a perfect person died. Death would be powerless to hold him.
So when we turn to Christ for forgiveness, God cancels the sin account we have and a legal transaction takes place where we are declared forgiven. Then He can relate to us as if we had never sinned and we gain access to heaven.
All the law keeping and good works we do can never cancel out the disobedience we did against God. It’s the wrong payment for the debt we owe Him.
HA HA!!
Circular logic for ME; but none for THEE!
One of the ways God showed Christ was the promised Messiah by rending the Temple curtain when Christ died on the Cross.
(You do understand what a huge supernatural event the tearing of the curtain was for the Jews at that time, right?)
Bickering about the KJV doesn’t negate all the signs and wonders that proved Christ was who He said He was in the midst of the educated Jews of His day.
So, if the KJV isn’t truly the Gospel, what is Christ’s message?
The burden of proof is on you first to prove Jesus was not the Chosen One, then you can argue about why the KJV isn’t Christ’s true message.
Nice try bro, but I dont do the Torah, and neither does one, single solitary person on earth, so that wont fly at the great white throne judgment. This same Jesus of Nazareth, that billions have denied, will have them tossed into the lake of fire 🔥
I recall what Jesus said to Saul of Tarsus, when he knocked Saul (Paul) off his high horse, Acts 26:14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. You may continue to do the same thing as Paul did, but thats on you bro. You are entitled to your own opinion, but 99.9999% of us will disagree with you. Get used to it. I have no idea where you plan to spend eternity, but again, thats on you bro.
