When you make religious leadership just another job rather then a calling this is what you end up with.

Right now a number of seminaries here in the states are attempting to have the same thing happen by bringing in bringing in teachers who are atheists.

Their goal is to destroy the student's belief. If you have a pastor who does not believe then the church is just a social club.

This is why you find such a gap in belief between the clergy and the laity.
