2 Timothy 4:3-4 ...’For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.’

These verses from the bible say it all.

Remember when the Archbishop (CofE) of Canterbury performed double duty as a Druid Priest? Maybe she thinks she can get away with both pretending to worship Christ and worshiping Moloch at the same time.

re: “We’re not to judge and God forgives. There’s none of us without sin, is what she says.”

It is true that we cannot “judge” what is in the heart of anyone - only God can do that. Only God can truly see the motives and thoughts of each individual.

However, we ARE given clear instructions by God Himself in the Ten Commandments, as to what we are and are NOT to do. He clearly identifies sin and that we are turn away from it.

Yes, we all do sin, but we are commanded to warn, to speak against evil, to spread the Good News. That’s not “judging” in the sense of looking down on someone else and condemning them.

A doctor tells us what is healthy and what isn’t. We don’t think he’s judging when he tells us to stop certain habits if they are detrimental to our health. In the same way, we must warn people against violating God’s moral laws.

In a sense, we really don’t break God’s laws - we break ourselves on His laws when we violate them. If we don’t warn people, and ourselves, to refrain from sinful behavior, then we really are not loving other people. We are being cowards.

I see no difference in what she is doing, than if someone worked at a brothel and told men and women after engaging in illicit sex that, “It’s ok, God doesn’t judge, He just forgives you.”

I suppose if this pastor’s wife stood outside the abortion clinic, on her own (and unpaid), and offered Christian counseling for women willing to hear the Gospel, that could be a legitimate ministry. But, being paid by the “clinic” that kills babies, and then offers so-called “Christian counseling”?

If she really cared about people and their relationship with God - what about the “doctors” and “nurses” who commit the abortions? Does she tell them to “go and sin no more”? If she did she would be fired.

I’m not really sure you can be a believer and work somewhere that advocates the murder of the unborn child.

A black church supporting the infanticide of black children. The KKK could not have dreamed up more ironic situation than that....oh, wait.

What a revolting story! How nice [/sarc] she speaks to the damaged women on their way out; this way she can take on her share of the executioner’s pie.

There are too many churches and church leaders that warp scripture. My understanding is that if the church knows of members that are actively sinning without repentance they are to be dealt with (judged) up to being removed from that body. avoidance of judgment is for the unsaved. But please note that avoiding judgment doesn’t preclude speaking truth with love for those who are lost.

I have no way to know if she and her husband are saved. I think that if they were in an active relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ this would be unthinkable, but God knows the heart and it’s capacities; I don’t.

In any case, I doubt the value of posts that point out the obvious. I don’t necessarily disagree. Indeed, my first thoughts were that similar excuses were probably offered by guards in conversation over coffee at Auschwitz.

But they will never see these condemning posts. If we want to make a difference, and we belong to Him, we should be praying for them and grieving over the misery this is causing.

" Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed"
(Ro 2:4–5)

Ironically, she will be upset when she finds out her husband has been cheating on her.
