“Title is a bit misleading.”

Yup. And it plays around with words and figures. Just brought this link up earlier today in another thread.

Not surprising since Jesus said “few would find” the path that leads to life.

--In Rhode Island, 44 percent said they are Catholic, making Rhode Island the most Catholic state in the country.

Uh, wasn't Rhode Island originally founded as a Catholic sanctuary in the mostly Protestant colonies?

Typical result of importing 40 million legal and illegal third world troglodytes. How many Hindus are now living in the USA? How many Buddhists? How many Islamist?

This is a result of Fat Ted Kennedy’s 1965 immigration agenda to replace the US population with non-white democrats.

I’m in the same group you claim, but that’s still Protestant. If someone asks, I say non-denominational, but it’s still not Catholic or Mormon, or Hindu or Muslim.

Slanted report — no Catholics mentioned in it.

The real title is, “Overwhelming Majority of Americans Identify as Christian.”

No, Maryland was the sanctuary state for Catholics.

Rhode Island was founded by Roger Williams and was a haven for English Dissenters. Maryland became a refuge for Catholics.

“wasn’t Rhode Island originally founded as a Catholic sanctuary”

Maybe you’re thinking of Maryland. (”MARY-land.) Rhode Island wasn’t Catholic. My ancestor, Roger Williams, started the first Baptist church in America in Rhode Island. It ended up being mostly Baptist and Congregational, I think.

I’m Christian.

I am with you. Denominations aren’t in the Bible. They were created by men.

The Catholic Church was founded by Christ on the Apostles, the first Bishops. Are you saying that you don’t believe in Jesus Christ, fully human and fully God?
