They know that probably the vast majority of women who have abortions don’t really want to kill their child, and if that woman has any contact with medical professionals who won’t participate in abortions because they’re morally opposed, that could easily in many cases tip a woman’s choice towards keeping her baby after all. And maybe she’d even tell a pregnant friend that who’s considering abortion in the future. So they want to make sure that everyone is forced into behaving as they want them to. But the Lord will avenge.
In Canada we are further along the “progressive” path, and they are trying to do the same for euthanasia.
