Agreed. Qx’s stepdad was not about to go to the hospital. He died in his usual recliner—refusing any morphine—with truaumatic breathing gasps but that was his will and we didn’t violate it. IIRC, he was about 92 or so, too.
Correct. Trauma and meds are not a good combo for the elderly.
