I watched some of the movies and was horrified by the blatant dark magick in the them.

I pitied the parents whose kids *had* to be part of this evil, lest they be “uncool”.

Rowling has mach to answer for.

If you watched some of the movies, then you should be capable of recognizing that Rowling was always careful to portray "dark magic" as bad, evil, wrong...

Not defending her -- but it does no good for us to lie about the matter, either.

Then there are those of us who don’t give a damn about who pities whom and just raise our kids as we see fit.

And, consider our kids reading a fantasy story as just that with nothing about middle school coolness lol.

Ha, it really seems to be so called adults that keep this “coolness” crap alive.

So happy my four kids are now adults and survived all the adults in their world and listened to their parents. lol

Do you have kids? Did or do you pity your kids?

Last time I checked, no kids “had” to be “a part of this evil” of reading the Harry Potter books and no one even considers that “uncool” since that is usually a term for adults with issues label today’s kids.

And reading or not reading harry potter has nothing to do with “coolness” at all, lmao.
