Murder is not a human right.

How do you “make” a human right?
To: marshmallow
Then imagine that fifth vote no longer even matters because abortion has been declared a human right by international law. The issue is not just out of the hands of the Supreme Court it is out of the hands of the American people.
That is not how the law works in the USA. Nothing the UN does supersedes the Constitution.

I figure Trump for 7 more years. I figure Ruth Buzzi for months. Liberals will go nuts, but Trump will get us the situation to do Roe v. Wade, plus plenty of other stuff. Now, about McCain....

I’m assuming they already made an “international law” to make food, clothing and shelter fundamental rights.

To be a little crude to make a point -
So you want us to murder your unborn?
Just stand there, real still, and we will put a bullet through it (him/her).
Cheap, easy, quick.

Other than treaties, there is really no such thing as “international law”. Abortion will never be a human right, as no Muslim country would vote for it, and no one wants to irritate Muslims.
To: marshmallow
The United Nations can no more make abortion a ‘human right’ than it can make longevity a human right.

Easy.
Create a government which has power of life and death over every human being.

Still doesn’t make it a human right. It would only become a mandate from government to accept murder.

In 1550, a guy named Bartolome de las Casas defended the humanity of the Native Americans. The circumstances surrounding his effort was the impetus for the creation of international law. So now, the UN wants to push for an international law so that a segment of humans will no longer have human status:
