You have to draw the line.

You are absolutely right.

Christ railed against pride and pharisee-ism FAR MORE than the whole Bible rails against homosexuality.

The laws against sodomy was already well established, it was just like today ( anti God ) Jesus came to preach the gospel to those who God sent him, ( believers )

The pharisees claimed to be preaching Gods word but all they were doing was preaching for hire and fleecing the flock.

So Jesus gave them special notice .

Here's a Jewish resource.

There are reasons for polygamy. God promises blessings on to the linage of the righteous man. Therefore, a blessing that is promised to a prophet will be passed down to their children and to the wives as well.

Therefore, God who sees past, present, and future, knows where He wants certain blessings to end up and with whom. So, He orders the prophet to take certain women to wife so that their children will bless many generations to come.

And it will have meaning in the next life as well. As it pertains to eternal marriage.

After the Lord's return, it will be practiced again among the righteous.

Isaiah 4
1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

In the millennial period seven women will beg a single man to take on his name, in other words marry him. Their reproach is they are not married.

1 Cor 11
11 Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

Paul's words are eternal. Everyone in the millennial period is "in the Lord", therefore they must be married... this explains Isaiah's prophesy.

I think that Western Christians world-wide should go African Christian, and good Christian Men should marry as many men as they can and the women should have as many children as they can.

We need to increase our population. We need to make babies and there are not enough Christian men to go around.

Uh, I think that's sort of going to defeat the purpose ...

Is going to a hetero marriage with the divorcee wearing white proclaiming purity as the driven snow, endorsing that lie?

Where in God's word does it say that wearing white at a wedding means the bride is a virgin? Let's not compare apples with oranges or a raccoon.

I just won’t be all that surprised to see some gays in heaven ... along with a great many prostitutes et al.

Only if they repented

Certainly the globalists are thoroughly evil spreading and deepening evils aplenty far and wide and using gays, partly, to do so. They care nothing for gays as persons.

NO. I don’t.

I do not accept you twisting my words or my stance. Your assumptions come across as arrogant, hostile, cheeky, and wrong.

Count it two ways:

1. The number of verses re the evils of homosexuality etc vs the number of verses against pride and pharisee-ism.

or

2. Count the number of words in sentences against one vs against the other.

Either way, pride and pharisee-ism have a much higher verse or word count.

Most scholars believe that the number of times the Bible mentions a thing correlates with the importance God places on it.

Deny all you want about pride and pharisee-ism. The fruit of that denial will not be pretty.

I will note that the attitudes, harshness, coldness, emotional distance etc. demonstrated by many hereon are exactly the sort of stuff on the part of fathers that help produce so many gays among their sons, to begin with.

You wrote:

" I could imagine a situation where I might [attend a sodomite "wedding"].

To attend a sodomite "wedding" is to approve a sodomite "wedding" and thereby approve the underlying sodomy. You admitted, in black and white, before the whole assembly, that under some circumstance you would give public approval to sodomy.

Quit trying to weasel your way out of it.

Most scholars believe

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahaha!!! Your pathetic resort to an illogical argument from authority is noted.

>>all authentic Christians are called to stand up for the Truth of marriage. In doing so, they will be standing up for our Lord

How could any Christian attend a same sex “wedding”? I don’t know. There is a part in the ceremony that calls asks “if there be anyone who knows why these two should not come together, let him speak now or forever hold his peace.”

What Christian could remain silent, when asked this question?

That’s YOUR construction on reality. Not mine. You can sell it all you want. I’m not buying.

You seem to presume you 100% have the mind of God on all those points. I don’t.

BTW:

1) I assume nothing. I read and reply to your words.

2) You are not in any position of authority. For you to describe anyone’s comments as “cheeky” suggests an insufferable arrogance on your part which completely undermines anything of value you might have to say.

3) I am extremely hostile toward the cultural and religious revolution being carried out by sodomites in the secular world and in the Church. Anyone who is not hostile to their evil agenda is on the wrong side. Giving aid, support, and comfort to sodomites in their vile and perverted effort to “normalize” their sin of sodomy is utterly wrong.

Attending a funeral in an LDS, RCC, Mennoite, etc. church does NOT mean you condone and support every one of their doctrinal and political stances.

Talk about straining at a gnat and swallowing a camel.
