All those who confess Jesus is lord and believe it will be saved. Everything else is just garnish. That is all it takes according to the Bible.

The pre-tribulation rapture is 100% false cherry picking nonsense.

God didn’t pluck Noah and his family away. He made them weather the storm. Nor those in Sodom and Gomorrah, or Egypt.

You said: "All those who confess Jesus is lord and believe it will be saved. Everything else is just garnish. That is all it takes according to the Bible.

You need to read back as to what I actually said and I think you will see that it does not differ from what you are saying. I said that there is more to it that merely believing because even Satan believes that Jesus is real. I said that being a Christian means confessing that one is a sinner, totally surrendering ones life to God, and fully believing that Christ's resurrection paid in full for our sins. And I also said reiterated in another post that we must surrender our will to God. So what part of the above do you feel is not necessary? Do you think that you do not have to confess that you are a sinner (repent)? Do you think that surrendering your life to God means anything different from "confessing Jesus is Lord" as you said? If He is Lord, then He must rule over our lives, right? And believing that Christ's resurrection paid in full for our sins, Do you not feel that is also necessary?

Summing up what I said was necessary..... CONFESS (repent of sin), SURRENDER (allow Jesus to be Lord in my life), and BELIEVE (not just believe that Jesus existed and that He is God, but also that his death and resurrection paid for my sins). Which part of the above is not necessary, but merely garnish? What part of the above do you think you can leave out and still be saved? Be specific, because that's what I was trying to do when pointing out that many who think they are Christians will miss the Rapture because they don't fully understand what it means to "BELIEVE".

Now, as to the Rapture. Even among true Christians we have different opinions as to when it will happen.... pre-trib, mid-trib, post- trib. And that is okay. I always am happy to listen to arguments for each of the above and do not rule out changing my mind. I do believe in pre-trib, but I also respect your belief in post-trib. You said if God made Noah, the people of Sadam and Gomorrah, and the Israelites in Egypt suffer, that means we will have to suffer the tribulation. First of all, God allowed the righteous in Sadam and Gomorrah to leave before He destroyed it. He brought the Israelites out of Egypt, saving most of them. Both of these events in history show us how God saves. And there is no better picture of how Jesus saves than the Ark...... BEFORE God brought down the flood, he put Noah and his family (the only righteous believers) in the Ark to keep them safe from the flood. Some of us think this is a picture of how God will keep Christians (righteous believers) safe from the tribulation.
