It certainly appears that Catholics do not believe it seemed good to The Holy Spirit to give an admonition against eating blood, since they eagerly believe they do it at their Mass sacrament. And they tell us that is The Book assembled by their hierarchy! I would say the contradictions found in Catholicism show it was in fact GOD Who gave us the BIBLE using even the sliding into paganism institution of the Catholic Church.

A final thought: Notice how the decree to the Churches is worded: It is the decision of the Holy Spirit and of us (Acts 15:28). In the end, we trust the Holy Spirit to guide the Church in matters of faith and morals. We trust that decrees and doctrines that issue forth from councils of the bishops with the Pope are inspired by and authored by the Holy Spirit Himself. There it is right in Scripture, the affirmation that when the Church speaks solemnly in this way, it is not just the bishops and the Pope speaking as men, it is the Holy Spirit speaking with them. Which again raises the question.
Does the Holy Spirit then guide the college of cardinals in the selection of the new pope?
It would appear from what Msgr Pope says, that yes He does.
With that in mind, then Pope Francis is the Holy Spirit's choice for the Catholic church and Catholics are duty bound to follow him lest they be found fighting the Holy Spirit.

Peter was the First Pope. Or this that not in your history book? Can you show us where in Scripture that the word *pope* shows up?

Peter ran the meeting. James added a little bit at the end. Did you watch the video? No, we read the book. The book is always more accurate than the theatrical license filmmakers take.
James led the meeting. Peter was a bit player there.

The last thread was shut down after a thousand or so posts because of childishness. I wonder how long this one will go before someone gets their knickers in a knot? As soon as someone starts taking a beating on their cherished beliefs and cannot defend them any more.
Then they will resort to name calling, insults, and profanity until the boss gets tired of it again and shuts that thread down too.

Acts 17:11
Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

Now the Thessalonican Jews were of less noble character than those in Berea, for while they received the message with great eagerness; they still checked with the ECFs every day to see if what Paul said was according to what Rome approved.

To maintain FR’s grip on sanity,
reduce name calling, insults, and profanity.
Else our very great boss,
on your ass he will toss;
which might even lead to your bannity!

they still checked with the ECFs every day to see if what Paul said was according to what Rome approved. Oh, yah, yah! My favorite passage! The one that compares the closed mind to the open mind, able to grow in the LORD! The Bereans were the ones who apparently didn't need any corrective epistles from Paul. Give them the Gospel and a Bible, and they're on their way. The Thessalonikans needed reminders about the rapture and the Man of Sin, not to worry, but be comforted by the Word. But they did come into line, as we ought.
And the ECFs -- those are the parasitics, right?
