As an aside, today, 23 April, is St. George’s Day in England. He is one of their patron Saints, and is closely associated with patriotism and nationalism.
It should also be noted that, “Saint George is known and feared by Muslims as a symbol of a Christian crusader throughout the Middle East, from Egypt to Asia Minor.”

Archdiocese in Atlanta has been pushing it all month. I did not even get an email from them about Divine Mercy Sunday ... but got an Earth Day email. Theit FB page has been nothing but climate change. Wonder how many souls that will save?

The examination of conscience examples the pontiff gave for such a Confession included avoiding the use of plastic and paper, separating refuse and turning off unnecessary lights. The pope called for Catholics to have an ecological conversion as well. Bergoglio is the first of the refuse which must be separated from and thrown out of the church.
