In many theological areas eastern orthodox is closer to reformed theology than say the roman catholic church.

Further apart, actually. The Orthodox reject the Immaculate Conception because they reject original sin per se as understood in the West.

Does the Immaculate Conception refer to the conception of Mary or the conception of Mary's mother?

Yeah, I’m not sure that “Panagia” = “All-Holy” would alight any more comfortably on Protestant ears than “Immaculate” does.

And the near total Reformed reliance on Augustine (as they understand him anyway) is going to get a pretty chilly response among the Orthodox.

For all its problems with us, Protestantism is still fundamentally Western in its outlook.
