Well I would dispute that understanding of history because the New Testament in Acts indicates they were meeting on Sunday. That said, while my preferred day is Sunday, I know it doesn’t matter. Arguments over the day miss the whole point. For the Christian, our true sabbath rest is found in Christ.

If you were to read Acts carefully,
it does not say Sunday,
but instead it says the first day.

If you were familiar with the
customs of Yah'shua it would become clear.

To this day, the Chosen People
celebrate the end of Shabbat
with a meal called an Oneg on the
beginning of the First Day,
which occurs at evening on the
day we call Saturday.

I pray that this brings a lamp to you walk.

I reject the Hebrew roots movement and its understanding of Scripture. I’m not interested in bondage.

I don’t know why folks call Saturday & Sunday the weekend.

It’s clear from the calendar that Saturday is the weekend; & Sunday is the week START!
