If you are skeptical because of past experiences with religion, understand that religion is not the answer—a relationship with Christ is. There is a clear difference.
Religion says, “I have to follow rules.” A relationship with Christ says, “I want to follow His plan for my life.”
Religion says, “I have to go to church.” A relationship with Christ says, “I want to position myself to learn more, worship Him and benefit from fellowship.”
Religion offers a set of rituals; a relationship with Jesus offers a guiding light.
Religion is man’s attempt to find God; relationship assures us of His presence.
Many lose sight of purpose because they have “religion” and not a true relationship with Christ. They may know Scripture but they often do not apply it to their lives. As a result, their relationship with God is cold and distant.
A fatal statement, yet so common is, “I know what God’s Word says, but…” For example: I know that I shouldn’t watch certain movies or television programs, but I enjoy then. I know that I shouldn’t date her, but she’s very attractive. I know that I shouldn’t go there, but everyone is doing it. I know what the Bible says, but it doesn’t apply now. I know that I need to go to church, pray, and read God’s Word, but I’m too busy.

That opinion is the opposite of what that scripture says. I will try to follow through with the template that may make it easier to see- but I readily admit this is not what we’ve been taught from an early age. We’ve been conditioned as roman citizens..but He can free us and have the scales taken off.
New moon day were set apart in scripture(special offerings,no work, markets/stores closed, etc)
Today, they really aren’t except one and even then, Judaism can get that day wrong. (Prophetic)
That verse specifically says (and His Word confirms) that He has straight 6 work days(in His Word, work was to be on 6 days)- Not 5, not 4, not 3- but 6 straight- not interupted with a new moon day or a sabbath- I will try to show that a little farther down.
His pattern is 1+6+1, not Rome’s 6+1, according to the simple reading of that verse.
God has 6 straight work days that commemorate His Creation and those 6 work days don’t get skipped or ignored on His calendar- they are set in an order. for a reason. God is a God of order.
Judaism doesn’t do that today, causing blindness.
His 6 days:
1st day-Light
2nd-Firmament
3rd-Separation of Seas and Earth, plants, trees vegetation
4th-Sun, moon, stars
5th- Creatures in the Seas, Birds in the sky
6th- other creatures and man
and then one Sabbath Day.
BUT, The Day of the New Moon is a day that commemorates what was made before the 1st ‘Day’- Before ‘Let there be Light’.
Light is the 1st Day. He called the Light Day..and the darkness He called night..
The earth and heavens were already around before the 1st Day, according to scripture-
does religion teach that? They can’t until they understand what a new moon day represents to the Creator.
That is what people are missing when they say the new moon day can fall on one of His 6 work days or sabbath- that contradicts His Word.
Genesis says God created the heavens and the earth in the beginning-
That is what the ‘Day of the New Moon’ represents every month-
The beginning- before His 1st Day when He said ‘Let there be Light’.
The pattern in Ezekiel 46:1 is thus:
1- New Moon Day- then
6 work days ( commemorating all 6 days in order) then
1- Sabbath
1+6+1=8, not 7.. That is opposite of what we’ve all grown up learning in our roman schools.
But that is what is being shown, according to scripture.
If it has nothing to do with the Son, we’d ignore it- But the Son is exactly why it was set up this way..
Why were Jew supposed to cirmcumsize their boys on the 8th Day, not some other day?
Because the Son of God was going to be born on the 1st Day of the Month(New Moon Day described in Revelation 12) and when that happens on God’s calendar, the 8th Day of that month, is the weekly Sabbath.
Two appointed days He taught Israel to assemble and worship,and not work: Christ fulfilled in His 1st 8 days.
And life events on the appointed days He taught Israel continued through His life.
a little Genesis Riddle-
How can God finish His work on the 7th Day and also rest on the 7th Day from all His Work in Genesis 2?
That seems like an obvious contradiction and newer bible translations have changed the wording, to make sense, in light of what they’ve been taught by the world.
Answer:
Because God has 2 different 7th days.
One that is the 7th Day of every month, which isn’t the Sabbath. and One that is the 7th Day of the week, which is the Sabbath (1+6+1 pattern He gave Ezekiel, confirms this)
Bible translators have had trouble explaining that contradiction in Genesis 2, so some have changed it-but God’s calendar doesn’t have trouble explaining it.
Why did the Son finish His work on the 14th Day?
Because that, according to the template God gave Ezekiel, is the ‘6th’ Work day of the 2nd week. (1+6+1 +6)
This pattern of 1+6+1 at the start of every month, is the pattern Israel was taught. Judaism doesn’t follow it today. They’ve discarded it for Rome’s.
Judaism thinks the 15th Day of the 1st month is a ‘Sabbath’ and it is, but it isn’t a Special sabbath- it’s the regular weekly Sabbath..same with the 15th day of the 7th month.
Imagine if Christianity knew that- Rome’s Friday, Saturday and Sunday would go bye bye- so would their entire teaching about Jesus.
What day did Israel have the 1st Sabbath?
The 1st Sabbath in the wilderness fell on the 22nd Day of the 2nd month (if you count) and the 22nd Day of the 7th month is also a Sabbath (again, confirming the 1+6+1 template He showed Ezekiel)
1+6+1=8
+6+1= 15
+6+1=22 (Not an accident that Hebrew has 22 letters)
Further study can show us that Each work of God (Creation, Redemption, Convincing the World) has a prophetic ‘week’ in His calendar:
Father finished His Work on the 7th Day (6th Work Day)
Son finished His Work on the 14th Day (6th Work Day)
Holy Spirit will finish Work on the 21st Day( 6th Work Day)
Each work led into the 7th Day Sabbath:
Father- 8th Day
Son- 15th Day
Holy Spirit- 22nd Day
His pattern is set.
Whether people want to follow it, is another thing.. If they are conformed to Rome, they can’t see this.
Impossible to see it.
It’s not an accident that it gets ignored. But it is prophetic that there are Jews, Christians and Muslims who seek the new moon every month- they just don’t understand how the Son of God fits into it. And it may not be fully understood until He return.
But we can understand it today. For His Glory..
If/when one does, they will start to see why Rome has been a vessel for counterfeiting the things and ways of God. Maybe go so far to say they’ve counterfeited the Son of God, simply by changing times and laws..

1+6+1 is not what anybody is taught..
I had to be willing to unlearn everything I was ever taught, and seek His Word, and be willing to be taught, only with His Word.
This is the way the Kingdom will run- each day in His Calendar, points only to Him.
His work of Creation, Redemption, Convincing the World..
That doesn’t happen on the world’ calendar for a reason.
Israel was given a day, once a month that pointed back to the beginning, and the Word made Flesh. We’d equate it today, to a Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day, rolled into one..
Not once a year- but once every month..
And it isn’t one of His 6 work days or His Sabbath- according to scripture.

You can pull 7th day Sabbath observance by the NT church out of a NT which never shows them doing so, but only specifically meeting on the 1st day, and treating the 7th day observance as part of the ceremonial law, but you cannot see that you represented me as one who, by by rejecting your argument, made up my own rules in accordance with 2 Thess. 2:11 which speaks of demonic deceived damned souls.
Your selective blindness is thus further manifest, and is a further argument against you. May God grant you and your cult repentance unto the acknowledge of the Truth. Bye.

The verses above concern the "Day of of the Lord", which begins the thousand year reign of Christ, here on earth, wheres the verses you've posted, pertain to "Judgement Day", which occurs at the end of the thousand years.

As far as I can tell, the Catechism of the Catholic Church does not mention the new moon day.
Here is what Paul says about it, though:
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Colossians 2:16
Paul was quoting Ezekiel on that..Specifically 45:17, rwa.
Ezekiel 45:17
It shall be the prince’s duty to furnish the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the new moons, and the Sabbaths, all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, burnt offerings, and peace offerings, to make atonement on behalf of the house of Israel.
But you left something out, rwa, that is pretty important- the next verse,Colossians 2:17:
‘Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is Christ’
Shadow of things to come-
Rehearsals. Not with the blood of bulls and goats or animals anymore-
But with the precious blood of Christ.
The meat and drink offerings on those days were done away with by the body of Christ. He paid that debt.
But those days haven’t been eliminated.
Isaiah even notes that new moon days and sabbaths will be around (Isa 66:23) in the future.
What people do on them is their business now.
Most don’t even know when they are.
But Rome has filled the void with their own days.
People who are into bible prophecy may see that as a bit prophetic in the end times.
It is not an opinion.
I do NOT find the Scripture 'saying' it.

I didn’t until He showed me Rome’s Good Friday isn’t His 6th Work day (Passover).
The math won’t compute for people conformed to the world. But we can be transformed by the renewing of our mind and then be able to discern what is the good, pleasing and perfect will of God.
And keeping the Commandments or not keeping the Commandments, is the ultimate topic of this article.
Elsie, if people followed the plain template in scripture, people could understand how the Commandments fit into the 30,60 and 100 that Jesus used in His parable of the sower.
Neither Rome or any of her daughters, nor Judaism, can teach that. Their math can never reach that Truth.
But He and His math, can.
Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."
