In his homily at a morning Mass on January 17, Pope Francis criticized lazy Christians, Christians who do not have the will to go forward, Christians who dont fight to make things change.
Such Christians have found in the Chuch a good place to park, the Pontiff said. And when I say Christians, Im takling about laity, priests, bishops... Such stationary Christians, he said, are a danger, like still water: It is the first to go bad.

My ‘heart stopped’ for just a quick minute. I thought the headline was saying “ Pope Raps”.
Yes, I could imagine this particular Pope giving it a go; rapping a litany of complaints, but in his native Spanish
or in Latin.
To: marshmallow
Sounds like he wants to punish his flock.
Why would he feel this way? Perhaps he believes that the position of Pope less than he deserves.

It is our job as Christians to change things in ourselves and in the world for the better. When it comes to changing scripture though, that’s God’s job. If He wants changes made, He will tell us.

His Holiness is not in a position to lead non-Catholics away from the Gospel.
But then, there already is an unfortunate amount of apostasy and heresy in the Protestant denominations.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

But these stationary Christians, they make me think of something the grandparents told us as children: beware of still water, that which doesnt flow, it is the first to go bad.Still waters run deep.

Just like a "Living Constitution" it seems we now have a "Living Scripture" which will mean whatever to whomever in our future! Sad, but very true!

Change for change's sake is NOT healthy
Eternity is timeless
This pope is suffering from 'gerfarkus of the blowhole' !
and he does NOT reflect my relationship with God, which is timeless and unchanging .

This Pope is as bad as anything the Medici family threw at the church. John Paul II was a great Pope for Catholics and Protestants alike. We could all respect him.
Pope Frank? Not so much.

I thought the headline was saying Pope Raps.
At first, I thought the same thing. Bergoglio, aging man as he is, gettin' gangsta' real?
How would that something like go? SNL would botch a skit like that...but I'd bet there may be a few Italians who could come up with some witty and biting Pope Rap.
Could have 'ol pope baby praising his homies on the one hand, and dissin' bad guys on the other?
Do A Little Dance (KC and the Sunshine Band) while he (a fake pope, i mean, uh, no really, a real fake pope. Uhhhg! nevermind!) was at it...
