Pope Francis said the death of Cuba's revolutionary leader Fidel Castro was "sad news" and that he was grieving and praying for his repose. Francis expressed his condolences in a Spanish-language message to Fidel's brother, President Raul Castro on Saturday. The pope, who met Fidel Castro when he visited Cuba last year, said he had received the "sad news" and added: "I express to you my sentiments of grief."

Nope. We only pray that he repented while he could.

Castro has “died in his sins”, as Jesus describes in John 8:24. Castro is roasting in hell for all eternity.

The anitchrist “pope” is also headed there, since he is trusting in part to his own works to save him.

Francis would mourn the loss of Satan.

The Knights of Columbus magazine Columbia barely mentions that we have a pope. He gets the same boiler plate three sentence paragraph in each issue.

I hope all these Francis-haters remember that he didn't elect himself. The people who should be blamed are the CARDINALS at the Vatican who ELECTED him as pope.
Every single CARDINAL knew exactly who this man was, what his policies were and what he intended to do as pope.

We might was well BLAME IT ON THE BOSSA NOVA for all that it matters, since the pope-haters WON'T assign the blame for his election to where it belongs: the Vatican CARDINALS

Just sayin.'

===============================

Jorge Mario Bergoglio
Maybe they were just following the old Revolutionary War motto: "LET GEORGE DO IT." :o)

You are mistaken. Francis had a vote in his own election.

Our fate depends on how we live our lives. Not even a Pope can pray a man to a different destination.

Bergoglio should pray for his own soul.

And for your information, Bergoglio has been stacking the college of cardinals with heretics like himself. So when Cupich is elected pope, don’t claim Bergoglio didn’t have a hand in it.

Where is your proof of this? You MUST be a Vatican insider. You have unknown depths!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_of_Cardinals
Of the 115 cardinals who participated in the conclave that elected Pope Francis, 48 were appointed by Pope John Paul II, and 67 by Pope Benedict XVI.
As of 19 November 2016 , there are a total of 228 cardinals, of whom 122 are under 80.

Most christians (Catholic and Orthodox) have always prayed for the dead. The Maccabees made Temple offerings in atonement for the sins who died in defense of Israel. It’s only recently (past 500 years) that some European Christians abandoned this honorable practice.

Jesus’ teaching of Luke 9:59-60, “Let the dead bury their own dead,” comes to mind with this Pope.

Thought question concerning the character of our Savior: did Jesus not grieve for sinners?

yeah, and Raoul is also an atheist. Doubt they believe in any variation of “souls.”

Fidel and Raoul were brutal dictators who killed mercilessly, Pope Francis. Had you not heard?

Why can’t he resign like Benedict did? He’s the most pathetic Pontiff in my lifetime. Just a disgrace to the Catholic Church.

There are so many examples of this Pope demonstrating his lack of knowledge and understanding of both history and science. He seems to be a simple product of the media, much like most of the uninformed masses. Who chose this guy to be Pope??

The College of Snowflakes.
