It is a sad thing when a man whose faithful ministry led many to come to Christ should now be vilified by so many so-called Christians.

It is a sadder thing when a man whose not very faithful ministry led so many people into error should see his life’s errors wiped away by mendacious Protestant so-called Christians. Take the man as he was. He did some good. He did some evil. To pretend he only did one and not the other is foolish and dishonest.
