Can you show me a verse, where God used a long drawn out process to reveal Himself to Paul?

How about this. God Picked Paul in his mothers womb, in fact he was chosen by God much earlier than that. He let Paul be an expert in God’s plan for many years as a Pharisee. God gets his attention on the Road to Damasus, then God then sends him to an individual to recover his sight. And then God sends him to the Apostles to fill in a lot of what he didn’t know about Jesus. Working out you salvation with fear and trembling was something Paul knew intimately.

I am sure glad God worked you out instantly and you know EVERTHING that God knows..................

You alone have not had to experience sanctification.

So, Jesus did not save Paul on the road to Damascus, He merely got Paul's attention.
