The good Lord can and does arrange miracles to happen in spite of a Jezebel. Just ask Elijah. It isn’t the end of the possibility of a spiritual turnaround for America if Trump, in spite of all, fails to bring it in. However it would look different, and the prophets of Baal (Jez’s darlings) would get a shock and then a killing that they’d not soon forget, as the “impossible” happens.
I say yes, we should give Trump the college try and then some. However, God is the master playwright and isn’t stymied by things that would stymie mortals.
