A Christian view of the election
vanity | 10-18-2016 | chuckles

Well, the enemy is busy, as usual, and I fear being more successful than usual. I tend to look at things in a binary fashion and for the election, I see the Christian view, and everyone else's view. During the Primary, I had my picks based on what I saw in the character of the candidates and used the guidelines of what they believed, what fruit they displayed, Biblical knowledge, ect. My picks one by one fell off the list. Now we have, at last, a binary choice.

What I see and hear from fellow Christians is misery, complaining, depression, anger, and any other Satanic fruit that Christians have been taught NOT to allow. I have learned the devils ways over my long life of observation and one of his favorites is the tactics used by magicians. A Magician will wave one hand around in the air while a pretty girl moves quickly around the stage to move your eyes away from what he's actually doing with the other hand.

About a week ago, NBC released a video of Trump 11 years ago saying things that insult most people, let alone most Christians. The masses bit the bait and Trump's race was damaged to the point of no return.( or so the polls seem to show).

Now his language is some that I wouldn't have used, but I think most of us sinners saved by grace will admit some time in our lives we may have done things just as sketchy. I was born again at 43, so I'm glad camera's in every hand weren't really that common most of my life.

The point is, the enemy seems to have gotten many Christians attention following the shiny object and they fail to look at the REAL fruit right in front of their face. Hillary has her own special fruit, but Dems in general produce their brand of fruit year after year, no matter who is in office.

First lets be Hillary's fruit inspector for a moment. She loves Margret Sanger. Sanger was the architect of the Holocaust and is the founder of Planned Parenthood, the murderer of 65 million babies of all races. She defends the selling of harvested baby parts for profit. She defends sodomite marriage and men in women's bathrooms. A thinking Christian must realize the institution of marriage was set up by God to explain how Jesus felt about His people. When Adam named the animals, God put him to sleep and formed his bride because God knew Jesus wanted a bride and man was made in His image. This marriage abomination is just a counterfeit by Satan to confuse the purposes of God. In reality, a sodomite can live with his partner, fornicate with many partners, live alone, or whatever he wants already. To get married is a direct insult to God and nothing more. The rainbow is a counterfeit of the covenant with Noah and is just to insult God again. Hillary is a liar. A prolific liar. In fact, I challenge anyone to find a piece of video with her lips moving where she isn't spouting a provable lie. She lies about her lies. As Christians, we know who her father is. She's a criminal. This has been proved on global TV, under oath, saying things we know she did. We absolutely know she had secret documents listed on her server for the whole world to see and we even recovered some of them and know they were listed as classified. In a normal world that would be listed as perjury and obstruction of justice, both are felony crimes with hard jail time.

Now let's look at the Dem party. Of course they support abortion even if a Dem voter doesn't. Romans 1:32 lists some sins that even if you don't personally do the sin, if you approve, you are guilty. This is the problem I have with "Christians"( notice the quotes), that believe they can vote Dem and not support what they do. I have never understood Catholics in particular and other Christians in General can vote for a party that murders babies as their main plank in the platform. Last election, over 55% of RCC's voted Dem and I do not know of any parish that believe abortion is not murder. The new shiny object is sodomite rights of all kinds and somehow being a bigot because you love God and what His Word tells us. They have proven they will put you in jail if you don't conform with the world,( which we are told explicitly not to do). Yet Christians continue to vote Dem. The Dem party voted to erase all mentions of God from the platform, yet Christians still support Dems. They are the ones trying to remove God from society, school, culture, even Christmas and Easter. Jesus said we must hate even our mothers and fathers, children and relatives in order to follow Him. Of course He doesn't want you to hate anyone, but what that means is, if someone, or something, comes between you and God, you are to put God first. That sort of blows that old saying out of the water that says "I don't bring my religion into the voting booth, or school, or work, ect. God even comes before your family so I'm sure He wants to be before your political party. The Bible tells us that whoever curses Israel will be cursed. What do liberals think about Israel? Just sayin.

I could go on, but let's get to Trump. Like I said in my first paragraph, Trump wasn't my first choice. But saying a few nasty words is not the same as killing a baby to steal his liver. It's not the same as treason by giving the enemy our secret documents. Wanting a fence is not the same as removing God from the country. Wanting a tax cut or a tax hike isn't a faith based decision. I would think a Christian would be encouraged by his list of SCOTUS nominees. A thinking Christian cannot be excited about a Hillary pick knowing how she and her fellow Dems feel about God and the RCC church. I fail to see anything disqualifying about Trump to a thinking Christian. If Trump was going to grab a woman without permission, he had the perfect chance as he got off the bus to get a big handful, but he didn't. I have NEVER in my life ever asked a girl to kiss her. You don't ask women if you can run your hand up her leg. I think if you did, she would dump you so fast your head would spin. This comes from new liberal meme that in college, you must have a form on file before you touch anyone or you will be charged with sexual assault.

Just to cut this short,if the video of Trump talking dirty has you thinking you just can't support him or stay at home, you should know that scales are over your eyes and Satan has blinded you to well known principles in the Dem party. Murdering babies and supporting sodomy are looked upon by God as sins leading to death while cursing is a sin of the flesh. It's time to watch the magicians other hand to see what is really going on and block out the shiny object. If you constantly believe the lie, God can give you over to strong delusion.

It would be nice to have a candidate like Tim Tebow, or Franklin Graham, but we have drifted way past that these days. We are all sinners saved by grace through faith. Some will be better than others, but all have flaws. Why would ANY Christian be fooled by a baby killer unless they have been blinded by the enemy and are headed for the ditch?

..."We have never had a Franklin Graham type for President,"...

I'm 65 yo and can tell you scandals like we have now would not have worked in the past. No one expected POTUS to walk on water, but rape? Hundreds of mistresses? Lies and treason? Selling access to government?

I know we had the Tea Pot Dome and Alger Hiss and other things, but the majority of the country thought these were bad things and needed to be prosecuted. NOTHING seems bad enough to disqualify Clinton, but talking dirty will get you sexual assault charges. I'm still so angry about the IRS going after the Tea Party I shake just thinking about it. Nixon was impeached partly for his enemies list and his use of the government for it.

IMHO, after a person is saved, they quickly forget where they came from and pride starts moving in so they forget quickly that they were pretty bad before they received grace by faith. It's forgotten that they did NOTHING to deserve salvation and the person they revile is loved by God just as they were.

If a homosexual comes to church, he/she is looking for something they can't find on their own. We need to accept them, but explain to them their sin, just like the ones I had forgiven, cannot be tolerated in the Kingdom of God.

The church at Corinth had sin in their midst and Paul told them how to handle it. I've been told Trump has recently been born again. I don't expect him to be perfect overnight. Sanctification takes a lifetime.

Why are you speaking of a different subject matter? Who said Mary? You did, over and over. Address what I said, not what would be convenient for me to have said.

Sometimes “ex Catholics” can be so “righteous” about it that they don’t see anything except “Catholic bad.”

In the day, my FRiend, God still existed in the common man's mind and the name of Jesus was truly Holy.

Yeah, I know, they threw the words around in cussing, but to corner someone and demand they reject God would force a man to remember his mama's love and attempts at making him a good boy ... and he'd acquiesced.

I think you mean he’d refuse.

Reversing this will need evangelism. Evangelism isn’t based on how wonderful we are, but on how wonderful God is in the face of our utter lousiness.

Yes ... my word was good, but not composed that way.

And yes ... they successfully evangelized for THEIR father, the devil for so many years, the knowledge of OUR FATHER was forgotten.

My opinion as well.

Why can’t everyone think as agreeably as we two?!

It’s an opposite message: “Look how marvelous we are, if we only knew it.”

Let me clarify, I’m not knocking your faith nor your dedication. I’m bringing out my opinion that the pro-life movement would be more effective without so much religious imagery.

It might help if you could even keep your story straight.

Hi-Tech,

Do you remember our conversation on this post about how I believed that Catholics should take some of the religious imagery and ideology out of the pro-life movement?

I heard something about a friend yesterday and thought of you and our conversation.

My friend is an evangelical who is deeply involved in pro-life causes. By deep, I mean really deep.

She saw an opportunity and a need in our area for a Women’s Care center (crisis pregnancy) She spent countless thousands of hours researching, speaking, raising funds, building a coalition, training, working with others, finding a facility, getting the facility built (across the street from a very busy abortion mill BTW), raising volunteers, hiring professional counselors and sonogram technicians etc. She did this all as a volunteer and when they opened, was the director, again as a volunteer. She worked closely with the local archdiocese on this.

Not long after they opened the center, she was fired for the sole reason that she was not catholic.

Her replacement is salaried and from what she said, well compensated from the money she raised for the use of the center.

And you wonder why more evangelicals aren’t involved in formal pro-life things.
