Hello fellow FREEPer prayer warriors and believers!
This evening, we got an email from our employer that portends some very bad news.
To put it simply, one of the adults in the household is highly likely to be facing reduced (perhaps down to zero) income in the very near future. We use this income for, as you can imagine, to pay essential bills.
We care for an elderly relative, living at home, who has dementia. And we care for a youngster in college.
Essentially this is, dare I say:
Not good.
So, God is greater than all of this and He is not taken by surprise, right? He is sovereign over all of these things.
I humbly, very humbly, ask you to pray for us once or twice or more if you can, asking Jesus to be with us and to help us cope. Ask for a new stream of income/job that will help us pay the bills.
We have begun in earnest already cutting our expenses. Sadly, some of this is in the form of charitable contributions we make monthly.
Some of it is expendable monies, too, of course. But we really aren't too foolish in our spending, at least in my opinion.
But I ramble. We will also need God's strength to explain this situation to the child.

But the testimony is that when one follows Jesus close on, He never gets beyond voice range. And he knows what our enemies and distractors are doing, because He is looking on.

Prayers up and doubled for a new stream of income, for resolve and strength and optimism against some odds.
The kid has some options maybe not considered for college support and even tuition. Explore.
You guys will make it through this. A better economy is coming. Don’t let this spoil your Christmas.
Keep thinking outside the box. Network amongst everyone you know. Best jobs come from someone who already believes in you.

GOD indeed answered our prayers in this situation! My prayer is for GOD to continue to bless you and your family. He is faithful.
