Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for Presidential candidate DONALD TRUMP and Vice Presidential candidate MIKE PENCE. This is the confidence we have in approaching GOD: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14 Religion Forum threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind.
The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
2 When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.
3 Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
FATHER GOD,
You are our LIGHT. You are our SALVATION. You are our FORTRESS that protects us from danger. Why should we tremble? Why should we be afraid?
We lift up DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE to You and humbly ask You to protect and bless them and all who are associated with them. Assign Godly people to be their counsel, and may they look to You for wisdom and direction. FATHER GOD, open up doors of opportunity for them, and give them favor and success wherever they go.
We stand on Your Promises for DONALD TRUMP. When his foes come to devour and attack him, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds him, he will not be afraid. Even when he is attacked, DONALD TRUMP will remain confident.
You command: "Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your GOD is with you wherever you go." Give DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE faith to believe that with YOU all things are possible. LORD, help them realize that without You, they can do nothing at all.
FATHER GOD, leaders are Your instruments, whom You direct to accomplish Your purposes. You arrange victory paths for them. You alone decides who rises and falls. Direct DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE in the way they should go, and may they give You all praise, all honor, and glory for the success You bestow upon them.
FATHER GOD, forgive us when we sin against You. Thank You we have forgiveness of sins through Your only SON, JESUS CHRIST.
You are higher than any other. You are awesome in power! There is none like You.
