The article starts by blaming communism ... then free masonry ... then is all over the map with no focus.
More dominant in seminaries than communist teaching was homosexual activity. At least in my observation in Chicago Archdiocese that alone is what caused seminarians to leave ... or stay in the 60s and 70s. Homosexual activity was practiced by both right wing and left wing priests. It was their special bond, special calling.
