A senior store detective at Macy’s has been fired from his job after he intervened when a female customer reported that a man entered the women’s bathroom. After he was asked to leave the restroom, the man complained saying he believes he is really a female. The woman and her daughter were frightened by the man’s presence. The case is now before the New York State Division of Human Rights, reports the ChurchMilitant.com.

A life-long friend was recently laid off from Macy’s after a 30 gig in the IT department - a programmer.
I gather Macy’s is on the fast-track to be the next K-Mart.
I do a lot of subcontracting on government construction projects. It is getting harder all the time because I have white privilege. I seriously plan on saying I identify as a trans, crossdresser, whatever it is these days when I fill out my minority quota sheets. Let them try to deny me.
It is boggling to the mind to think that Macy’s would allow a woman and her daughter to be frightened by a man in the women’s restroom, and to refuse to do anything to bring assurances of safety and security to women, and instead lash out at and terminate the employee who had the good sense to try and assure the women that he would see to it that the man was escorted out the women’s restroom.
I am inclined to think that women will avoid Macy’s as these kinds of incidents occur, and hence Macy’s bottom line will suffer.
Yup, that's exactly how to handle it. All this nonsense would stop real quick.
Macy’s needs to die economically. Yet the executives get their golden parachutes, upper management is clueless, middle management lives in fear of the diversity zampolits in human resources.
Yeah, backbone and a lot of $$$ unless she find a ProBono attorney...

I guess that women can just either “lay down and take it” in regards to the transgender policy, or they can start protesting a make this a national Women’s rights and safety issue.
Hope that woman has lots of friends who will now be ex-Macy’s customers.
Maybe it’s my imagination, but Macy’s started tanking after dissing Trump six months ago.

Wife running the company is no good. Even though she is very involved and does all the bookwork, we cannot be a Women owned business because she has a full time job. Plus she is white so no points for that deal.
