Christ rebuked Judaism (Talmud aka oral law/dogma, see Mt 15-16 & Mk 7-8; Col 2:8,14-15,20-23; Eph 2:2,15-16), thus anyone Christian turning to Judaism (salvation through works alone) has utterly succumbed to the great delusion of 2 Thess 2.

Yeshua rebuked those things the Jews of the day had gotten wrong. Likewise, every branch has also gotten some things wrong today. Assuredly we will all be one soon though, after the marriage supper of the lamb.

“This is exciting news because it demonstrates how many Christians and many Jews are recognizing that Messiah’s coming is near and how that portends a reconciliation between the two,” he said. “In my view, as Christians awaken to what they have been blind to – an obligation to keep the Torah – it will provoke our Jewish friends to see what they have been blind to – the identity of the Messiah.”

More like everyone's expectations will go up in smoke.

Yeshua rebuked those things that the leaders had taken away from the Torah by their adding to the Torah, do not add to and do not take away. Paul (Shaul) reminded us to cling to the simplicity that is Messiah. Well, Messiah is the living Torah, He is the Word of Life spoken of by Moses in Dt 32:46-47. That Word does not detail how we are to wash our hands, how we are to put on and tie our shoes, but most importantly, that Word teaches us that our enemies are those of our own household, and He wasn't speaking of Esau, He was speaking of the brothers who sold Joseph into bondage.

I see Hebrews as an epistle of encouragement, sent to the assembly in Jerusalem who was soon to see the temple destroyed and so the writer sent a word of encouragement to the remnant in Jerusalem to cling to Messiah who is in them, for the slaughtering of animals was not the sacrifice that Elohim ever wanted,(Ps 40:6-8) He wanted sacrificed (circumcised) hearts (Dt 5:29,30:6). The new covenant was revealed before the children of Israel crossed the Jordan, centuries before Jeremiah prophesied of it and over a millennium before the writer of the epistle to the Hebrews reminded the remnant. We are never to look to the earthly things, we are to set our hearts on the things of His Spirit, His Torah that leads us to the Living Torah, Yeshua the Messiah.

Rom 7:12 So that the Torah truly is set-apart, and the command set-apart, and righteous, and good. ... 14 For we know that the Torah is Spiritual, ...
