Upholding a lower court ruling, the Ontario Court of Appeal has ruled that the Law Society of Upper Canada was justified in denying accreditation to Trinity Western University, an evangelical school whose students are required to pledge to avoid sexual activity outside of marriage between a man and a woman.
Comparing the pledge to rules against interracial dating, the court ruled found the pledge “deeply discriminatory to the LGBTQ community” and ruled that “public interest in ensuring equal access to the profession justified a degree of interference with the appellants’ religious freedoms.”

It’s becoming harder and harder for employers, churches, schools, fathers, mothers, and even husbands/wives to control the sex lives of other people. Everything sexual seems to be coming down to choice by the individual and everyone else is being told to go fly a kite. Have we lost all control?
Should be interesting when Madrassas begin popping all over the place and they shill for Sharia law applications. The seeds are being sown and the judiciary will be in a pretzels trying to play this one off.
It’s not about controlling anyone’s sex life. It’s about controlling the moral standards of their own members.
If someone does not want to maintain those moral standards, then they need to attend school elsewhere.
This is exactly the same as someone coming into your house and demanding to have sex with your daughter (or son, or dog! These liberals have no morals) and you being forbidden to tell them no.
But will they be approving the Sharia compliant law school?
Why would you even want to control the sex lives of other people?
Christianity, unlike Islam, is about free will; you have the power to say “NO” to God. That is the reason Satan hates humans.

Or, perhaps, separate accreditations. Christian law students go to Christian Law Schools, accredited by fellow Christians. The resulting lawyers to be hired by Christians. Let the pagans have their institutions. In a generation the pagan institutions will be gone.
I know where it’s located as a fellow ex canuck. TWU has a good number of American students who want to avoid the eventualy Christian downfall of America. And people are asking me why I left Canuckistan. It’s a morally dead country.
I have a good friend who just recently still taught there. Now he doesn’t.
I’m really beginning to look hard at electrical in the US.

Christian businesses should ONLY hire Christians and especially Christian graduates from Trinity Western University.
All other applicants can go to hell.

However, I see the ravages of STUPID decisions by my erstwhile friends. They ALL knew better but were too weak and arrogant to affect changes that would better themselves and their lives.
They ALL thought that I was the "dumb" one. So, who is sitting pretty now? Ain't them.
