In scripture, when we see the dichotomy presented “spirit vs. flesh,” what is it that is being contrasted? What is meant by spirit vs. flesh in scripture?

If you understood the truthful answer to your question, it would perhaps change your [perspective on what the catholic religion Mass asserts it does.

Is there blood coursing through the body Jesus now has In Heaven, in The Throne room of GOD?

Word for *flesh* in:

John 6:51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56

http://bible.cc/john/6-51.htm

John 6:63

http://biblos.com/john/6-63.htm

The word for *flesh* is the same in BOTH verses.

http://biblesuite.com/greek/4561.htm
sarx: flesh
Short Definition: flesh, body
Definition: flesh, body, human nature, materiality; kindred.
It is the exact same word used in Galatians 5 and Romans 8. There is also much more commentary at this link:http://biblesuite.com/greek/4561.htm
which I would post but would show up in HTML and mess up a simple post.

***********************************************************************************

However, it is NOT the same word as used in the Last Supper....

Matthew Mark 14:22, Luke 22:19, Matthew 26:26, 1 Corinthians 11:24, 27, 29

soma: a body

Short Definition: body, flesh
Definition: body, flesh; the body of the Church.
There is also a more in depth analysis of the word *soma* at this link: http://biblesuite.com/greek/4983.htm

***********************************************************************

What Jesus said in John 6 and during the Last Supper do not refer to the same thing. Therefore He did not mean the same thing. What He gave the disciples to eat and said was his body was not sarx but soma.

The point I’m focused upon is that the body catholics are told their preists call down from Heaven, so they can feed the body BLOOD soul and divinity of Jesus to the adherents, that body now in Heaven does not use blood to distribute the LIFE. Our creature bodies do but Jesus is no longer in a creature body, He has been transformed, so the priest is serving nothing but fantasy and magic thinking, not the blood of The Christ. But the TRUTH about The Life in the blood and The LIFE God is going to distribute to the new bodies at the Rapture is too much Truth for catholiciism, so they continue to ‘just not get it’, and make all manner of magical assertions for what is the religion of catholiciism Mass.

What Jesus gave to His disciples in the Upper room was bread and as HE IDENTIFIED it, wine. He did not leave it ambiguous because HE called the ritual a remembrance of Him and His giving HIS BODY and BLOOD on that cruel Cross, for us and for our salvation. Catholiciism tells their adherents that the priest feeds to them the soul and divinity and the real body and blood of JESUS. The Body Jesus now occupies in Heaven does not have blood distributing The LIFE throughout that body. JESUS did not teach His disciples to get His Spirit LIFE in them by eating His flesh and blood. That is the carnal error catholiciism makes, bending the spiritual TRUTH to be a pagan rite of eating ‘the food sacrifice’.

Many religions think that physical activity and ceremonies make men right with God.

The Jews fell into that trap as well, but Paul explained the purpose of the Law was to lead people to Christ and that God wanted worshipers who would worship Him in spirit and truth.

I am thoroughly convinced that Peter did not do catholic Mass. It (the paganized rite) would be anathema to a man who walked with Jesus after His resurrection.
