In the Book of Acts, it mentions WHOLE HOUSEHOLDS that were baptized—including children!!!!

St. Luke himself was the first iconographer!!!!

The Holy Orthodox Church is the Church that was founded by Jesus Christ Himself and the Holy Apostles on the Day of Pentecost. Your Protestant church body came much, much later, and threw out much of what the original Church practiced and believed.. (It was even derived from Rome, which was already deviating from the original!)

Yea,let’s polute/destroy distinct genetic lineage that took thousands of years to develop.

Everyone is descended from Adam and Eve.

It is religious, not racial, intermarriage that is forbidden.

Most Marxist anti-colonials suffer from this syndrome.

Sort of reminds of our Dear Leader!

“”As Earl Butz put it in 1974, objecting to a Paul VI encyclical which proscribed contraception, “He no play-a da game, he no make-a da rules.””

That is funny! I forgot all about him but the name was familiar. That must have been one of the things that got him in trouble with the president. I couldn’t recall him so I had to look him up. How great it must have been to have someone who actually had some experience in the cabinet post he was given but also how refreshing to have someone who wasn’t afraid to speak politically INCORRECT language..He and James Watts would have made a great duo.

So you admit that you mind read that I would have virtually the same response that you did.

I’m not trying to blame you—only to give you a nudge in the right direction!

I’m trying to do the same with Roman Catholics, even though I seem to call the current Pope nasty names!!!!

In Divine Liturgy, after receiving Holy Communion, I give nearly all the Catholics in attendance a piece of Holy Bread (which is blessed but not consecrated). (Very few Protestants attend.)

We also invite Protestant and Roman Catholic friends and neighbors to our bazaars and ethnic festivals. They might go on a Church Tour while they are there, and thus get a glimpse of Orthodoxy.

I do what I can, unworthy sinner though I am!

Got a verse for that, or are you adding the words, 'whole' and 'children', to
a particular verse, because that is what you want to believe?

Acts 16:33, for example:

Get an Orthodox Study Bible, read the explanatory articles, and be done with it!

(Acts 16:32-33)
"And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. {33} And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway."

How do you know that this person had children? Or perhaps he did have children that were all grown up. Either way, if what you meant by 'children,' are little kids, to young to understand right from wrong, then there is no evidence anywhere is scripture that they need to be baptized.

read the explanatory articles

Those are written by men who may or may not be led by the Holy Spirit, I'll stick with God's preserved word, His inspired word, that way I can never be deceived.

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

I don't need explanatory articles, commentaries or books written by 'Bible Theologians' with fancy titles in their name, to know what God plainly tells me, I have the word of God, perfect and without error.

BTW

The mindreading claim only works if stated BEFORE a person says (or types) something.

Proclaimed AFTER it’s aired; it is only suspicion; right?
