What would Jesus say?
If they cater to LGBT and gay life styles in the least at a policy level, they will not be able to avoid the split.
Traditional Christians who hold fast to Christ’s word and the Bible, know the sin and the perversion for what it is, and will never accept it.
Kicking God's can down the road can lead to unexpected spiritual IEDs. There is only one answer, and it is THE BIBLE SAYS NO.
Appears they’re concerned with losing members and money so they put it off for two years.
Amazing. Obama is laughing his rear end off right now. In one EO look what he has done to this country. Still has months to unleash more.
No Biblical Law, but a lot of church law.
I don’t see how they are going to come up with a solution that will satisfy everyone. There are already entire conferences that say the rules regarding homosexual marriage or ordination are null and void. They may as well let it hit the fan now. It’s now or it’s later.
If the decision makers are reluctant to look in the Bible for answers, they should at least look at the reduction of membership and revenues for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in the last 7 years.
Refusing to deal with it is not helping the situation. The denomination needs to cut out the dead wood. If that is seen as a split so be it. Light has no business harboring darkness....

A visitor from the future appeared to a minister of a Main Line Church.
VISITOR: I can tell you anything about the future.
MINISTER: What will become of the Main Line Denominations?
VISITOR: I have good news and bad news. The good news is that all denominational walls will come down. In the future, the UMC, the UCC, PCUSA and all the others will be one church.
MINISTER: That’s wonderful! What’s the bad news?
VISITOR: That one church will be on 54 Main Street in...
Satan is taking a tire iron to the churches. This is why I can’t join a church.
Last year we found a church we liked. It was a Missouri Synod Lutheran church. Seemed normal. It was nice having communion.
Then at Christmas, the associate pastor held the service.
He announced during his sermon that miracles were over after the “apostle age.” He explained that he had never seen a miracle. We left and never looked back.
That they even have to “discuss” this (what a farce) means that they are already fatally compromised.
They should review the Bible instead.
