HarleyD God doesn’t use sickness to teach you something. God said He wants you healthy 3John 2. God is a healer.

That is an insult to every person who has suffered ill health or a terminal illness. God does not "heal" every affliction. If that were true, no Christian would ever die.

This name it and claim it theology is demonic. It is witchcraft disguised as Christian Theology.

God does heal, but he heals those he chooses to heal. For instance, despite the prayers of 10,000 prayer warriors, he did not heal my daughter. He took her home. The healing she received was entirely spiritual. My only comfort is in knowing that she is with Him and that she is no longer in physical suffering.

If you really believe your "God heals everyone" theology, then you should be preaching it outside the intensive care unit of your local hospital not from the comfort of your home. You will get sick. You will die. God already knows the number of your days. You have God's promise on that one, Frank.

Agree! Pain and suffering is part of the fall of man. But God uses our suffering to help us to understand His will. Everything, including suffering, works for our benefit, although at times, as Job experienced, it is difficult and hard to understand why. We are called to be patience while God reveals His will to us. To say otherwise is to ignore the things God does in our lives-for good or bad. He knows what is best for us.

Rom_8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
