Pope Francis to Muslims: "We Are Brothers"
The Eponymous Flower ^ | May 4, 2016 | Giuseppe Nardi

The Catholic Church leader called for "building" the Christian-Islamic dialogue with patience: "The work that they do, is a work of building."

The Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies, was the initiator of the letter of 138 Muslim representatives in 2007. It was written in response to the famous Regensburg speech of Benedict XVI.

Pope Francis: "In a meeting like this dialogue is the operative word. And dialogue means to come out - with the word and with yourself. To say his word and hear the word of the other. Two words come together there, two thoughts. This is the first stage of the path. "

However, it wouldn't be sufficient to remain in the dialogue. Even "the hearts meet." Going from the dialogue to a "dialogue of friendship", and this leads "to a handshake." "Word, heart, hands, it is easy! Even a child understands it," the Pope said.

Francis told the representatives of Islam: "We all have a common father - we are brothers!"

The Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, which is headed by Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, had planned the event.

The attitude of Pope Francis to Islam: Part of the "people of God"?

Last January, it was announced by the Vatican that Pope Francis will visit the Great Mosque of Rome after the visit to the Roman synagogue. As Vatican spokesman Father Federico Lombardi announced the visit would take place on on April 10. Since then, nothing has been discussed for mosque visit.

Already in November 2015 it had been circulated by Francis is allegedlt had the intention to write an encyclical about Islam.

This past Holy Thursday, the Catholic Church leader visited a refugee center in Rome. In his address to the mostly Muslim refugees, the Pope said that the Muslims would belong to the "people of God". An equivalence of Islam was highlighted in January by the first "video of the Pope", where Islam, Judaism and Buddhism were put visually on the same level with Christianity in a message from the Pope.

Y’all can’t be too surprised at this. This is long beloved doctrine of Catholicism.

This Pope is very, very dangerous to the Church and to the entire Western world

reaching out to faith groups that do not bomb, terrorize, and preach mass-murder....YES

reaching out to savage Satanic cults like Islam... only in a missionary sense...and only to individuals... NOT in any way that could be construed as conferring any approval or recognition or legitimization of the group or its evil preachings and Satanic deeds.....

Francis told the representatives of Islam: "We all have a common father - we are brothers!"

Brother human beings, which goes without saying. When these words are publicly uttered by a pope, Catholics are led to believe that the "brotherhood" to which he refers must be of a spiritual nature. Churchmen such as Francis with track records of religious indifferentism falsely imply spiritual congruence between conflicting beliefs.

From the other thread...This would be a prime example of the End-of-Years Christian-Muslim alliance prophesied.

In fact, could there be a better example?

1.25+ BILLION Christians.

Interestingly, that’s also the same number of Muslims in the world, where estimates generally range from 1.2B to 1.4B.

Different religions have different gods (that’s why they are different religions!) and different lineages.

Abraham-Ishmael

Jacob and Esau are brothers. Ishmael, not so much.

Godfried Danneels wrote circa 2003 that they were planning to eliminate the papacy in the V-2 sect and go for a governing council, from whose ranks would rotate a titular head for a set term, stepping down for the next in turn.

I think they wanted Wojtyla to step down to begin the precedent without having too abrupt a change. They got their wish with Ratzinger - perhaps with pressure, perhaps not.

After Bergoglio the Marxist does his future total upheaval alluded to by Kung, and if Ratzinger was still among the living, then if Bergoglio were to step down one could have the beginnings of that same council with three sitting {non-valid] popes.

If pressure was indeed applied to Ratzinger, here is an article that may be of interest to you:

"Plot Against Benedict XVI, He will die in 12 months"

Be careful not to give the religious world the benefit of the doubt and thus fall prey to the "good cop, bad cop" Kabuki theater dialectic in that realm.

While Bergoglio's heresies are easily seen, Ratzinger and Muller have denied the Resurrection of Christ in their writings. Ratzinger's writings were placed by the Holy Office on The Index of prohibited works in the 1950's as being suspect of heresy, he had the original problem with the meaning of the word "is" at Vatican-2, ("the Mystical Body of Christ SUBSISTS IN the Catholic Church" versus the correct "the Mystical Body of Christ IS the Catholic Church") and he also denies the resurrection of the human body for the just at the Last Judgment: they will merely "be remembered in a special way in the mind of God".

Deniers of the Resurrection: Walter Kasper, Gerhard Müller, Joseph Ratzinger

From a 1969 brief bio, "Joseph RATZINGER: German, age 45, dogmatic theology, ecumenism; previously suspect [of heresy] by the Holy Office; member of the Faith and Ecumenism Commission; outstanding work in collaboration with Karl Rahner: Primacy and Episcopate."

>>>My question to my Catholic FRiends is thus: When did the Society of Jesus go astray?

Post 1958 the Teilhard de Chardin groupies led by their Superior General Pedro Arrupe’ came out of the closet on the election of Roncalli. When Roncalli came in, the word to all the moles, the specific double agents, went out that they could now surface and wreak havoc. Arrupe' had survived either Hiroshima or Nagasaki only because the other priests he was with were devoutly praying the rosary, and he parlayed that notoriety in his career, while he himself, to my mind at least, was a Marxist.

The old guard was NOT like that in the least.

Once they put the proper agents in charge in the seminaries, (the same as happened in all the other orders), to discourage the right type of candidate for vocation to the priesthood, and instead encourage the wrong type, then they rewrote their history and helped the conciliarites attempt to rewrite the Church's as well.

Exactly so.

To wit, one of my own brothers is a conniving, lying, cheating, thieving POS. He would literally stab me in the back if there was financial gain in it for him.

So, just because the Pope says they are our brothers, doesn’t mean we should trust them.

“Kill them all and let G*d sort them out.”

And which one is that?

There are many to choose from and they all claim to be the *correct* version, with the others being *heretics*, in schism, and hell bound.

Yeah, Muslims are brothers to Christians in the same way that Cain was a brother to Abel.

What does Pope Francis think then about Ahmadi Mohammadans in Pakistan by decree not allowed to greet other Mohammadans with ‘salaam’?

The Catholic Church leader called for "building" the Christian-Islamic dialogue with patience: "The work that they do, is a work of building."

Interesting...

1 Peter 2:4-10  New International Version (NIV)

As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says:

“See, I lay a stone in Zion,
    a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.”[b]

Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,

“The stone the builders rejected
    has become the cornerstone,”[c]

and,

“A stone that causes people to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.”[d]

They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

I'm pretty sure that you  means fellow Christians...
