I could introduce you to a whole bunch of non-open borders Utah Mormons.
No doubt you could. Individuals have differing opinions on things.

Unfortunately, many organized religions are very much in support of open borders.
This appears true.

Organizations usually put facts in writing so they'll not be misunderstood.

It's hard to make the apple/orange comparison between what an Individual believes and what an Organization asserts.

Well, I only have a couple of Mormon friends, but they never told me any of those. In fact we never much discussed religion at all.

They must NOT have been missionaries!

Keep your dinner visits with member briefs and during the customary dinner hour in the area.
Remember to say thank you to those who feed you.

My friend’s father in law, a Mormon, embezzled money from his business.

The Mormons hustled the father in law out of the country on a “mission trip”, just before he could be interviewed/deposed.

So yeah, lots of 60 year old men go on mission trips.

Then the judge, a Mormon, threw my friend in jail for a month on contempt of court charges.

My takeaway is that the Mormon god is OK with half-court basketball, but if you mess with a vehicle’s odometer you’re going straight to hell!

Does God condone vaping pot rather than smoking it? Because, you know, it is a healthier alternative, and the technology did not exist back when the Mormon stuff was being written, so I seek clarification.

I generally agree with what your LDS friend said - the LDS church does NOT support deportation. One difference I have is that I do not think the LDS church is opposed to secure borders.

ALL: Joseph Fielding Smith was part of the infamous Smith clan...no small authority. He was the 10th "prophet" of the Lds sect. Kimball was the 12th "prophet" of said same sect.

So here we have four general authorities above teaching how Lds can become "gods" -- and yet this FREEPER claims he's never heard of such a teaching?
