2 Angels Visited This Dying Man And His Testimony Is Amazing!

Courtney writes on Facebook:

Meet Roger Barrett. This gentleman is a patient of mine who just started coming to our office this week…little did I know this man would change my life.

Mr. Barrett was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2009 and was told that he could receive treatment but if the cancer spread outside the bladder there wasn’t much the doctors could do. Well, as months went on and the doctor visits and follow ups continued, Mr. Barrett’s cancer began to get worse.

~snip~

A few months later it was the month of December and every year Mr. Barrett decorates his home with 150,000 lights displaying the true meaning of Christmas, and opens it up to the public and has a fire pit, serves hotdogs and marshmallows at no charge.

~snip~

Well one Saturday evening Mr. Barrett was parking cars in his back yard, and he said a couple pulled up in a little car. Mr. Barrett said clearly they didn’t belong there because the woman was dressed in a white, gorgeous coat that came down to her ankles and the man was dressed in his Sunday best suit.

... Mr. Barrett said he never felt the couple touch him as they held hands for the prayer. He said, “The whole prayer I just felt different.” And he said, “I could swing my feet back and forth as if I was floating.”

I worked in a hospital for over twenty years. Events oc curred there that defy all logic. Most unusual things typically took place on the hospice ward and around the area of the morgue. Mostly these things remained with the staff if possible.

It’s appropriate for any time. Thank you for posting it. I have a nephew who has, among other health challenges, food allergies. He was diagnosed, at age 2, as being allergic to peanuts, eggs, fish and tree nuts. He’s going to be 10 soon. His parents were advised that outgrowing an allergy past age 7 was unlikely. I never stopped praying, not that he outgrow his allergies, but that he not predecease me. I was surprised to hear that at age 9, a few months ago, he outgrew his egg allergy, which lifted a load off all of us. now, he can eat regular mayonnaise. Last week, he overcame his tuna allergy. He’s still allergic to other fish, but my goodness! I am awed by God’s mercy, generosity and responsiveness. It can’t be stated often enough. Our God is an awesome God! Thank You, my always and ever living God.

I woke up from a nap and wife had cleaned the room.

I said thanks for cleaning the room.

She went off on me for five minutes before I told her I wasn’t being sarcastic! :)

I don’t even know where that idea came from.

BIGGEST mistake of my life? She said she had enough nice jewelry so get her something different for Christmas.

Among a lot of other things, I got expensive silverware, which we needed, with her initials engraved.

She opened it, screamed “you got me silverware??!!” and went crying into the other room :)

i’m back to nice jewelry.

She’s a great gal though.

There was a time I actually could buy clothes for my wife. She hates to shop. Very unusual for a woman.

From her youth she was petite. Short legs & arms, amply built, very nice figure, but the proportions made shopping difficult. Her mom would force her to go. As a result she was always dressed well, but did not like shopping for clothes.

It took a long time before I realized what the issue was and we actually talked about it. Made a lot of sense. But she would never have actually have told me about it.

And that my friend is why the translation Sacrament is wrong. The real translation is Mystery and God has kept it a mystery and will until we go home.

It’s good that you talked.

My wife has issues from pop leaving and cheating when she was 14. He is deceased now.

I never though much of him (sorry to speak ill of the dead) but she though he was the great thing in the world.

Hard dealing with the repercussions...insecurity, fear, doubt, low self esteem. I talk firm and strongly and kind when I see hints of her starting to fall apart over something. Usually works.

I also believe that I once have been used to protect a loved one in an instance for which there was no apparent logical reason for me to do what I did.

Please share. I love reading stories of my FRiends' real-life experiences. It brings joy to my heart and I'm sure many others feel the same.
