Really? I attend the Divine Liturgy every Sunday with Middle Eastern and North African Orthodox Christians. We recite the Our Father in Arabic among other languages. Many of my very best friends are Arab Christians. They show no superiority complex. Perhaps you meant a Mohammedan superiority complex?
They’re not Muslims if you attend Divine Liturgy with them.
What I meant is that Islam is structured around an Arab superiority cult - for example, the head honchos can only be Arabs (descended in one way or another from Mohammed, who had no male heirs, and the whole Sunni/Shiite split is over who is actually the heir of Mohammed). Mohammed was a tribal warlord in the lawless ME after the fall of Rome and the devastation caused to the Church from the Arian heresy and its offspring, and he wanted his tribe to come out on top. Hence the syncretist cult he developed to extend the power of his band of Arab camel-train-raiders.
Naturally an Arab Christian has no part of this, and is not even considered a “real” Arab by Muslims.
I think livius meant to say that they are an Islamic Supremacist cult. Not necessarily Arab.
Funny no one will have a problem with Islamic Supremacists but Western Civ Supremists, no way. All cultures are equal, yeah right.
