He Warned Us About Islam Over 750 Years Ago⦠Itâs Time To Listen.
St. Thomas Aquinas is considered one of the most revered philosophers and theologians of any era. A 13th-century Dominican friar, his works include the âSumma Theologicaâ and several groundbreaking commentaries on the works of Aristotle.
Over 750 years ago, he also had some prescient words about the spread of Islam, shared via Breitbart. In his work âSumma Contra Gentilesâ â in which he argued for the truth of Christianity against other religions â he blasted Islam as a carnal, brutal religion which seemed to place earthly pleasures above spiritual awakening.
Christianity, Aquinas pointed out, spread through the miracles of Jesus Christ and his followers. Islam, on the other hand, spread through more worldly means, such as a fulfillment of the flesh.
Lessonsâ
Muhammad âseduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh goads us,â Aquinas wrote. âHis teaching also contained precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure.â
Needless to say, that didnât lead to the most pious sort of converts.
âIn all this, as is not unexpected, he was obeyed by carnal men,â Aquinas wrote. âAs for proofs of the truth of his doctrine, he brought forward only such as could be grasped by the natural ability of anyone with a very modest wisdom. Indeed, the truths that he taught he mingled with many fables and with doctrines of the greatest falsity.â
Thatâs why, according to Thomas Aquinas, âno wise men, men trained in things divine and human, believed in him from the beginning.â
The Prophet Muhammad.
Who, then, spread the word of Islam? This may sound familiar to you.
âMohammad said that he was sent in the power of his arms,â Aquinas wrote, âwhich are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants.â
Muslims âwere brutal men and desert wanderers, utterly ignorant of all divine teaching, through whose numbers Muhammad forced others to become his followers by the violence of his arms,â Aquinas wrote.
Aquinas also pointed out that very little of Islam was new or particular to the religion; the majority of the Quran was borrowed from Christianity and the world of mythology, with just enough added to make it an attractive faith for the worldly and greedy, Aquinas wrote. However, to Christians, Muhammadâs work âperverts almost all the testimonies of the Old and New Testaments by making them into fabrications of his own, as can be seen by anyone who examines his law,â Aquinas wrote.
Aquinas also engaged in a little bit of dry, 13th-century humor about Muhammad, saying that it was âa shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity.â
âIt is thus clear that those who place any faith in his words believe foolishly,â he concluded.
Keep in mind that Thomas Aquinas lived closer to Muhammadâs time in the seventh century than to our time, yet all of what he said about Islam still rings true.
Spreas the Word. PLEASE.
As a graduate of a Dominican education I can attest to their reverence and admiration for St. Thomas Aquinas.
Here is an awesome 4 minute history lesson I found today: Jefferson and Adams on Islam, and why they had Korans.

Same then as now. People never listen to the warnings. They just plain don’t listen. Remember how many were all oooooh, OBL is soooooo tall, dark and handsome! Then it was the Boston bomber is soooooo cute and got his picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone! Don’t know if they were controlled by PC as we are which gave us Ft. Hood’s Hasan, San Bernardino’s shooters and The Terrorist in Chief but America is its last days from it.
"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome."
A quote from an 1899 book by Winston Churchill, "The River War", in which he describes Muslims he apparently observed during Kitchener's campaign in the Sudan
Excellent synopsis. Mohammedism is all about the flesh, Christianity is all about the Spirit.
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Many pre-Vatican II popes and saints warnd us and spoke the truth about Islam and Mohammedans.
Thanks for posting that very informative.
We were warned long before this.
1 John 2:22 King James Version (KJV)
22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1 John 4:2-3 King James Version (KJV)
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

How about FR fix this. What a joke
Seems like a “religion” that liberal males would embrace. Meanwhile, Hillary has the Muslim vote locked up.
I lile this quote:
“That’s why, according to Thomas Aquinas, “no wise men, men trained in things divine and human, believed in him from the beginning.”
Islam is a war plan
