The U.N. climate conference in Paris is most likely humanity's last chance to thwart global environmental disaster, Pope Francis said on Monday, warning the world was "at the limits of suicide".
The pope, who wrote a major document on the environment last June, made the comment in an hour-long news conference aboard the plane returning him to Rome at the end of a six-day trip to Africa.
The freewheeling conversations have become a trademark of his papacy and the few times he takes direct questions from journalists....

He should be preaching and telling the world to turn back to GOD and GOD will heal the land. The secular leaders should be looking at the huge reality that a natural catastrophic event can change our environment in a matter of hours. An example? The early 1800’s volcanoes. We should be focusing the resources and research being wasted making Al Carbon Credits Gore richer on our survival of natural events locally, regionally, and even hemispheric. Instead we’re lead by Idiots & Thieves.
The pope thinks that economic development will abuse those resources to a disastrous extent.
